Fantastic pub with charm, personality, great drinks and a fine decor. Quintessential representation of what a British pub means. Highly recommended. Proprietor has a good sense of humour and has been involved in this pub for over 150 years, do not miss out on a visit here.
Wonderful welcoming spot. Family run inn and restaurant Father bartender, son cook, daughter server Only a couple of tables Great food Had steak, scallops, elevated fish and chips Everything was excellent. Highly recommend. Reserve well ahead.
Margaret and I had the most amazing dinner and superb service last night.Food is small plates, seasonal plates with exquisite flavours.Service was second to none. Service with a smile. We hope to come back next year.Food & drinks: Quite simply sensational food. Very fresh and local. Lovely surroundings.
