Ice cream melted on arrival, ice cream portion size supposedly one scoop but was about 3 tea spoons worth, got delivery on route message but didn’t show up for another 40 mins. Last time I’ll order from here as delivery times are always slow but normally food makes up for it but not this time. Waste of £20. Unable to contact shop as no phone number available on Google or Just eat.

Ordered 2 waffles with toppings sauces and ice cream, was meant to be an hour away from 1st ordering, then got delayed, finally arrived 5mins ago 22.45pm, 2 tiny boxes ,no ice cream just sauce and some topping , like it's just been rushed, plus waffle tastes like something out a packet.. over 20quid for this measly so called "treat" , very dry and no effort put into this, plus no phone number to complain, will not be ordering from here again. Do not part with your hard earned cash. Absolutely abysmal

Waited well over 1hr30mins for delivery after even paying nearly a fiver for the pleasure! No contact number to speak with anyone regarding order. Abysmal service all round. Only giving one star as i couldn't give 0.

Ordered a home delivery...crepe with ice cream for hubby which he thoroughly enjoyed....I had a monster milkshake galaxy caramel flavour...I always think milkshakes should be creamy but not this one...it was slushy and lacking in flavour apart from the squirty cream on top ....defo not worth the £6...disappointing

Had problem with my order messaged and they did everything in there power to make it right. The service I received the whole time was outstanding. Always been my favourite sweet shop and always will be. They do the best baked good and some the best sweets and other goods you'll find local wouldn't recommend anywhere else but them 5* service that can't be beaten. Placed an order through Scoffable, order took 1 hour 10 mins to arrive. 1x Cookie dough ordered and 1x Waffle. Both were average. Cookie dough is heated up cookies and waffle was ready made packet waffles. Neither are freshly made.

I usually get my milkshakes from here (Lotus Biscoff Monster Shake) and they are always fantastic. Large size and really packed full of flavour! My favourite milkshake place to go. Delivery has always been on time.Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that on my last order I ordered 3 cans of diet irn bru for my family and ended up with 3 diet cokes instead.Can't fall the food and milkshakes though!
Got deliveries tonight and they didn't have any of the ice cream for the sundae we ordered! However they called and exchanged for something else and when we got our deliveries they gave us a Halloween cone sweeties as an apology! Delivery was less than an hour, 100% recommend and great service

Stopped at this sweet shop twice on the passing and it’s not been good. Can’t drink out the straw for the slush puppies as it’s thin and made of paper, had to use a spoon when I got home. churros were brick hard which makes me think they were not fresh at all. Not a great selection of pick n mix, and to actually get some takes an hour of writing down numbers and calculating prices. Only 1 star and that was for the older staff members who were friendly. Sorry won’t be back.

Very poor service, placed an order through Scoffable which got cancelled due to the street being closed off due to an incident which is understandable, we replaced the order a second time as advised by staff if we wished to receive it, whilst placing the order we stood outside so the driver wouldn’t have to worry about gaining access, we waiting for 40 minutes to be told the driver had attempted to deliver a second time and couldn’t, I explained to staff we have been standing waiting for the driver at the top of the street before the road closure so it was easier for the driver to park, I was then dismissed and given the same excuse, when I tried to explain further I was again dismissed with the same excuse, during those 40 minutes we continuously seen other delivery drivers from just eat parking up and walking through the closure. We are not convinced the driver even attempted the second delivery.

Ordered the cookie pie and a couple brownies. Absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend almost left me for the baker. Understandable to be fair. 10/10 would order from here again, could not recommend The Sweet Life more.

We used to be regular customers here and honestly this place has went so far down hill. Every time we order something is missing and I mean every single time. Ordering a box deal and doesn’t come with the items included on the website. Prices seem to be going up however the quality does not resemble. As we live local we always try and give it another chance however never again.
