Gavieside, West CalderA good day outDon’t let the industrial park vibe at the start deter you: The exhibits are good!The layout is a bit funky: Hard to navigate and frequent signage is lacking, bathrooms favor the start (none near the far exhibits), and the nice cafe is behind office building and random kitchen block.Hadn’t caught the snow leopard yet, maybe next time. But the Eurasian Linux and Scottish wild cats are lovely. Really liked the cheetah exhibit as well. Good mix of species, even got parree dogs!Soft play to boot, cafe is opposite of it. Though wish a little less kid distractions would be niceGot lucky after lunch and caught snow leopard! Over all a nice way to spend half a day to a full day with your kids.

La Salute Ristorante Italiano
83 Main St, West CalderMyself and my husband went to La Salute, for the first time last night. The meal was delicious the owners were very attentive had a few jokes with us too!, We will 100% return!

Polbeth Service Station, A71, Polbeth, West CalderStaff here are the nicest staff I've came across at a subway, love the chat, very attentive, don't leave you standing unattended at the counter for ages before being served unlike other subways around Livingston. All lovely ladies and nothing is a bother for them!

81 Main St, West CalderSince moving local we have been using this Chinese. Food is always hot when arrived and always within a 20-30 min delivery. Reasonable priced and never had a bad order yet. Sometime we have had a bonus of a free box or spring rolls. Would highly recommend

79-81 Main St, West CalderOrdered a takeaway on line, Service was really slow despite having placed order with plenty of time. However they were busy and the food was certainly worth the wait, we had Lamb Bhuna and Lamb karahi really really nice. Will definitely be back.

39 Main St, West CalderYour one stop shop for all your sweet tooth needs always amazing service and all round great small business unlike its local competitors this store goes above and beyond for its customers always given amazing customer service. Had problem with my order messaged and they did everything in there power to make it right. The service I received the whole time was outstanding. Always been my favourite sweet shop and always will be. They do the best baked good and some the best sweets and other goods you'll find local wouldn't recommend anywhere else but them 5* service that can't be beaten. Thank you all at The Sweet Life yous are amazing keep up the amazing work. Will always return to yous ??
