“This is a gorgeous place to get delicious food. I’ve only been in the place once to eat but we’ve had takeaway from them a few times. The food is so interesting and so different from the usual fare up here. The variety is amazing and the small plates mean you can get a variety of things to share. They are opening again in November at the weekends, so we must go through again. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant - the staff are all lovely too ?
Vegetarian options: Amazing selection of vegetarian dishes and everything is so flavourful. Delicious home made pasta too, and a choice of Maltese or Italian style pizza.”

“A really big thank you for taking our late order on Monday the 16 Sept. 5 wonderful meals and fantastic service! A super start to our NC500 journey around Scotland. My fish and chips were dynamite!”

“Terrific food and service! I had the special for the night which was hake in a lemon fennel sauce. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in making our selection, pointing out what we might like for the evening.”

British • “Seems it's changed a bit since the last reviews, it's now some sort of donation-driven self-serve canteen. There were cakes, teas, coffees, and that sort of thing.
As far as I could see it was just take what you want and pay what you can. A lot of locals and regulars there happy to chat, an interesting and friendly bunch for sure. Can recommend stopping by if you're in the area!!
Be warned: no fish and chips here which is what got me there in the first place! But plenty of other joints for that in the vicinity, no harm done”
