“Great wee cafe down at the harbour, stopped for an early lunch but they run breakfast quick late and don't serve lunch till a specific time (I believe it was 11:45 but its been a few weeks since we were there) so had another breakfast. Food was alright, it just wasn't what we were after at the time. Cakes are very good tho and parking is easy as the harbour is a fair size.”

“This cafe has a selection of hot and cold sandwiches and other lunch items. The breads and ingredients are all very fresh and homemade. Have carry out available for a picnic. Pleasant wait staff. Bistro style indoor dining. The best part is the most wonderful Empire cookies in the country. Great shortbread, but just the right frosting glaze and jam inside. They're also prettier than most empire cookies . Price was comparable for most non-chain sandwich shops”

“A good choice traditional style food. I ordered the steak pie and was pleasantly surprised to be presented with a massive plate full. This was no cheap and nasty steak pie either but decent lumps of meat and topped with perfect pastry, we didn’t even wait long. The staff were busy but efficient and they didn’t even complain when a group of cyclist asked to fill up their water bottles, despite being so busy.. The place was clean and I couldn’t find any faults”
