Coffee Shops • “If you are in Wick, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Mountain Dew. An absolute gem of a pub, with a really friendly local crowd and equally friendly bar staff. I am not a local, but after my first pint I had a group of friends to chat with that made me feel right at home and welcome. Cheers to the Mountain Dew.”
Coffee Shops • “This cafe has a selection of hot and cold sandwiches and other lunch items. The breads and ingredients are all very fresh and homemade. Have carry out available for a picnic. Pleasant wait staff. Bistro style indoor dining. The best part is the most wonderful Empire cookies in the country. Great shortbread, but just the right frosting glaze and jam inside. They're also prettier than most empire cookies . Price was comparable for most non-chain sandwich shops”

“Great wee cafe down at the harbour, stopped for an early lunch but they run breakfast quick late and don't serve lunch till a specific time (I believe it was 11:45 but its been a few weeks since we were there) so had another breakfast. Food was alright, it just wasn't what we were after at the time. Cakes are very good tho and parking is easy as the harbour is a fair size.”
