Great food but MAYBE not worth the price - depends on your preferences. The special kebab was nice even if the lamb was slightly tough. Would consider coming back and possibly trying something else on the menu. Not much space to sit inside so be prepared for takeaway only.

Quite simply the best chicken burger I've ever tasted. Ive Been a customer since my late teens, and now my sons have become equally impressed with the great tasting food supplied here.

Went to Effs Saturday 24th june. Visiting Bridgenorth for two nights. Wife had chicken kebab and I had a large donner. First thing was I paid and didn’t realise I had handed over ten pounds extra. Son of owner immediately said you have made a mistake and handed it back. Top notch guy!!! The food was delicious. Only one criticism I couldn’t quite finish the large kebab!! . We enjoyed it so much we are going again tonight. Lovely!!

Absolutely useless tbh,, rude let alone not on top of there payments,, could of happily been a theft and taken from them but to honest and the order wasn't right,, tried to pay and then charged me more for paying by card in delivery when that wasn't stated in the order,, shame because they do actually do good food but the service t9day was shocking tbh

I have been in this kebab shop several times & never had a issue with the food, service or staff. But tonight... i ordered our food & the guy who served me said £35 something, so i asked him to repeat & he messed about with the till and changed it to £25... my order was x2 small fries (fiver), burger meal (6.50 ish) & a wrap on its own... soo it should off come to 18-19. So i didnt want to be rude & ask where he got that price from so i said i will leave it. The guy a good ten minutes later came out the shop & started to argue with my husband...Soo be care full what they charge you! Always work it out beforehand!

I don't normally leave reviews but after my recent experience i feel its very much needed. I popped in after a night out- It was relatively quiet with 2 staff members on shift. The main server was overly short, snappy and abrupt when taking our order. When asked if I wanted salad (that particular item was actually for a friend) I declined. The main server then turned to his colleague and started talking in his native language and they both started laughing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they were being derogatory. Very intimidating and belittling behaviour from an overly arrogant man. After reading other reviews I think it may have actually been the owner. If that's the case it says it all! Ended up paying quickly and getting out of there. All in all not a very nice experience. Food was ok but there are plenty of other kebab shops in Shrewsbury with far more friendly staff!

As the credit crunch bites some restaurants are starting to use cheaper products, unfortunately this seems to be the case here, the lamb does not come up to scratch, think they are using older mutton as the smell is strong, reminicistant of a halal butchers shop. I found the doner and kofta inedible, and i had just knocked back 3 pints of leffe ale. Unfortunate as they used to be quite acceptable for after drink munchies.

Just brilliant. Great, tasty food.

Unfathomably rude for a early Sunday evening. Unhygienic place with a dirty counter and packaging on the floor. Avoid.
