Lamp Indian Restaurant
3-4 High St, Highley, BridgnorthI find meat in curry too filling so they did me a paneer tikka masala instead. Oh my word, this was hands down the most beautiful and tasty curry I've had. It was thick and saucy and went really well with paneer. Definitely going to be my regular. Highley recommend ?

Peepo Pizza
84-85 High St, BridgnorthWe looked at the menus of a few local places to go for dinner and decided on Peepo because they had a good variety of veggie options. We had starters and mains and were not disappointed. The food is outstanding! I had the vegan mushrooms to start and the sauce was lovely ❤️❤️❤️ for main I had the truffle pizza and it was divine, they certainly didn’t skimp on truffle and the flavour was immense. The host was friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere was really warm and inviting. I would definitely dine here again and recommend others do the same ❤️❤️❤️

EFES KEBAB AND PIZZA HOUSE
8 Listley St, BridgnorthGreat food but MAYBE not worth the price - depends on your preferences. The special kebab was nice even if the lamb was slightly tough. Would consider coming back and possibly trying something else on the menu. Not much space to sit inside so be prepared for takeaway only.

The Stable Bar
3 Whitburn St, BridgnorthThis could easily have been a five star review. We called in to Bridgnorth, late one Sunday lunchtime, looking for sustenance. We walked in to the magical setting of this bar, in a covered, picturesque courtyard. We were warmly greeted and told we could sit anywhere. We ordered our drinks, and we ordered Sunday lunch from the delicious sounding menu. Unfortunately we were not warned that there would be a very long wait …. (the tables were not all full by any means, so there was no clue that this could happen). We ended up having to wait a full hour for our two meals to arrive… and that was only because we were starting to panic as my husband is diabetic, and really cannot do without food! The food, when it arrived, was indeed lovely and very tasty. My lamb was melt in your mouth tender. The gravy was absolutely delicious, and the veg varied and great quality . ( However we did feel only two roast potatoes each was a bit mean!). All in all this would have been a five star review… if it wasn’t for the interminable wait, which came with no hint of a warning.

The Three Horseshoes
Wheathill, BridgnorthDespite booking in for Sunday Roast at the very last minute, and even then, I'm ashamed to say, arriving a little later than planned, we could not have asked for better, more friendly service. Very generous portions of excellent food, served by lovely staff at exceptionally competitive prices. Absolutely cannot fault. This is our second visit in as many weeks and will definitely look forward to returning again.Thankyou Team Horseshoes for looking after is so well.

Takeaway Restaurants
Legend's
1 Bank St, BridgnorthMy partner and I visited Legends on a cold Monday evening in November, the restaurant was very quiet as you'd expect at 5:30pm on a Monday, but our host made us feel very much at home. We were offered a table near the entrance that sat between 2 heaters, it made a really cosy base for our meal, that was a nice touch. We both chose a Satay for our starter (King Prawn for me and Chicken for my Partner) along with a shared portion of Spring Rolls. The Satay Sauce was wonderful, with chunks of crunchy peanut and a decent chilli hit. The Spring Rolls were very tasty, minced veg and spices mixed perfectly in crunchy pastry, perfect. For our Mains we chose the Fillet Steak with Black Pepper and Beef with Green Peppers and Black Bean Sauce, both were excellent, very tasty, not a single mouthful was left uneaten. My only slight complaint was that I had paid a premium for Fillet steak and it was clearly exactly the same meat cut as my partner had. All in all an excellent Monday evening, and not overly expensive at £61 including 2 Bottles of Tsingtao and a large Coca-Cola. We will be back again.

A442, Quatford, BridgnorthVery busy place nice friendly staff, we usually go Tony's over the road but decided to stop in here instead one day, didn't get to try food sadly. Central Shopping Court, BridgnorthPopped in here for the first time at the weekend. We were really impressed.Proper old fashioned little cafe/greasy spoon - in a good way :-)Food was very good and portions decent. None of your usual silly prices - Sausage (x2), egg and chips for a fiver. Can't beat that.Friendly staff as well. Proper family place.Dog friendly which is a must for us!Only issue was lack of toilets, a tad strange but can't knock marks off for that. Will be back when next in Bridgnorth.

The Winding House Tea Rooms
6 Castle Terrace, BridgnorthInside it looks like an old-fashioned Tea Room. No-one else was in, so we got a lovely table by the corner Windows looking out over the Trams. The steps are steep going down but it's lovely when downstairs (there is seating on the main level but this wasn't open, presumably when main summer. Cakes were delicious & lots of various teas (although Husband just had a 'normal' tea in a pot). The outside area is currently closed as a wall is being repaired but this would be a great spot once re-opened.

Seagull's Ocean Boat
67 Listley St, BridgnorthAs a group we have been coming to chippy religiously since we started driving back in 2019! When I say the staff are friendly, I mean they have become such friendly faces they make trip out to bridgnorth all the more worth it, the food is great and reasonable priced, and the seating area (closes around 8pm) is a godsend and comfortable. I don't think I need to say this but myself and about 6 others would whole heartedly recommend this place!
