Nice Pub in high town Bridgnorth, very good ahtmosphere. I was welcomed by kind staff and during a week I was visiting the pub 5 times. The meny was as good as pub meny can be, there was variation and a green touch. I had the ploughmans two days and the portions is big maybe to big!. The other dishes was also very good. The cider the offered was also good. Anything less good? Well the cheesecake I tasted was off and not good, and once the coleslaw had a not to fresh taste.

Had lunch here today, and the choice and quality of the burgers and other dishes here were fantastic. \nThe beef burgers they serve put the likes of 5 Guys and Smash burger to shame in both how they taste and how much they cost, and the young lady who served us was very helpful and friendly.\n Excellent range of vegetarian/vegan options, which is a godsend for my partner, and the desert menu and milk shakes are great, too.\n\nHad the chicken and fish burgers in previous visits, and both were delicious. \nHighly recommended \n

small cod and chips nicely filleted & alway very tasty Good quailty cod

Amazing batter / very nice chips / all very freshly prepared & cooked

Nice size portions , only disappointing thing was price gone up from £5.80 last year to £8 for mini fish special so worked out cheaper medium chips and mini cod for just under + £0.50 each potato scallop which still bargain

Would defiantly recommend

What a gem this place is!
Had Sunday roast for Mother’s Day celebration and it was excellent. Came with all the trimmings and value for money was excellent! Great choice for kids too.
The staff were really nice and welcoming - brought colouring books for the kids.
Will definitely be visiting again and spreading word to friends/family about this delightful cafe!

A thoroughly delightful small pub accessed from the platform. I enjoy the locally-sourced pork pie and a pint of Bathams - one of the excellent real ales served from their hand pumps

Stopped for lunch with my mum, hot day therefore we sat inside as it was cooler loved the decor. Does have a lovely garden area too as well as another small seating area inside. Menu on the blackboard, large breakfast menu with some specials. Mum had garlic mushrooms which they kindly put on toast rather than sourdough. I had the special field mushrooms with blue cheese on sourdough. Both meals delicious and filling. Staff friendly and helpful.

Unbelievable value for money! We stay at Bromdon Static Caravan Park and have had Sunday lunch here on the way home previously and wasn't disappointed whatsoever. Today we tried the Sunday takeaway service to eat at home. We were shocked at the quality and size of the 3 courses; fantastic and well done!

Our first visit here. The decor was very interesting lots of old headgear on the walls. We were there early evening about 6.30 but told we had to leave by 8. Not a problem for us but it may be for some. There were plenty of empty tables which was a surprise as it was their specials night. The food was not your typical Indian food and it took us ages to decide what to have, which I think annoyed the waiter a little. The food was very interesting and we would definitely go back again.

Parking: Keep your parking ticket and the restaurant will refund it when you eat there.

Wheelchair accessibility: Completely flat from carpark into restaurant

Nice old pub with lots of history on the Cartway in Bridgnorth. The only pub left on it these days so it’s good you can get a cold drink as the hill is quite steep! Good selection of ales. Friendly service with a relaxed vibe. Outside seating. Recommended.. ?
