Between the owner and staff (especially em who always makes us feel so welcome) the new inn has an amazing atmosphere and incredible drinks on draft. Always feel welcome with good music and somewhere to play darts. Beer garden in the summer is one of best sun-traps in town. Highly reccomend.

Such q great pub. Lovely beer garden & atmosphere. I have to say this, but it was the only pub in high town with a jukebox. And you'll find almost anything that you want on there. Also, the bar staff are tremendous. A lot of credit goes to the new (ish) tenants - Doris the Pug (defacto landlord/lady/canine), Sarah & Dave. They've turned it into a very comfortable, easygoing pub. Great food from cafe opposite which will deliver to the pub for you. Very, very happy with the service. I'd highly recommend it.... even if it's just to say hi to Doris
