We went to the Woodberry yesterday for a family Wake. The food and service was excellent. Really good quality food and a great choice. Could not fault it at all. Would highly recommend.

A comfortable well appointed room and a nicely made breakfast did little to off set the debacle of a night in the Woodberry. Upon check in for an overnighter, we were informed that there was a 21st birthday party that night. There was a disco (which turned out to be more techno boom beat rap than disco) which finished at 12am. Whoop whoop..., Our room actually vibrated with the beat. Sleep? No chance, not a hope. So our two star review is based on the fact that we received no warning of this event and had what should have been a comfortable night away ruined. What are you The Woodberry, a country pub with rooms or a night club? Your marketing suggests the former but our experience of your business was of the latter (and no this wasn't a one off, as others in our party had the same experience the night before as well). Positive mention in respect of the Manager who went put of his way to fire fight an unresolvable situation created by a 'car crash' of a booking strategy.

Nice surroundings but apart from that very disappointed seem to want to charge for a level of service that they are incapable of providing and in fact they are actually very bad but they think that they are doing a great job lovely looking room's but sub standard beds making it impossible for a good night's sleep! (Main expectation of any hotel bed) Way over priced Breakfast 1 sausage 1bacon 1 small button mushroom 1 over cooked egg black pudding and burnt toast just under £10This is definitely a place to avoid at all costRooms: Don't expect to sleep in the uncomfortable bedsFood & drinks: Don't waste your money

Went for Sunday lunch. Met by friendly staff who immediately showed the two of us to our table. We were then left to wait for ages before anyone returned. Eventually we ordered drinks. After 10 minutes we asked about our drinks to be informed that they won’t be long. Finally arrived!!We just opted for the Sunday roast option, which was delivered without too much delay. Plenty of meat and veg however the food was not very warm at all and by the time we had finished it was cold.We were in there for about 1 hour 10 minutes and the background music was the same song on repeat; no attention to detail! We had not been there for a while and it will be a long time before we consider going back, with better options in and around Bridgnorth

Great restaurant and food. Stayed here for the first time and the room was lovely, staff were friendly but a bit fast in explaining the room and getting in and out the building but we managed fine.Walkability: Easy walk to town centre.
