“Used to come here every week when we lived next door. This is the first time visiting in years. Amazing what they have done to it, lots more seats and space now. I've never had food here before so tried the fish and chips, they were lovely and came really quick. The staff were friendly, there were two dogs there, so well behaved. Definitely come back again.”

“7 of us stayed 4 nights for a walking holiday in the area. Stuart made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for baths and showers when we all arrived back at the same time. Wifi was only available in the dining room and TV reception was intermittant in some rooms. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and plenty of food and choice. We also ordered our sandwiches from the hotel. Lovely bread, both brown and white, with plentiful fillings. A successful trip which we hope to repeat.”

“We visited the Bucks Head on Tuesday evening and were surprised to find there was a Greek menu. I had the stuffed kofta and my friend had the chicken gyros. We’re both absolutely gorgeous. The two ladies behind the bar were also very helpful, Caitlin and Joanna.”
