“A lovely country pub with friendly, helpful staff. We were a large group so we understandably had to pre-order our main course ahead of time. We were a little disappointed to discover some really appetising dishes when we arrived and maybe would have ordered them had we known about them. One to bear in mind for others in large groups - ask what the specials are!
Food was delicious and when it says homemade on the dessert menu, they were definitely homemade! Yummy!!
We would certainly recommend and return!”

“Had such a great stay here this weekend. The land lord and land lady were both very friendly, helpful and accommodating towards our group. The rooms were comfy and well equipped. The location can not be beaten, fabulous walks just a stones throw away and it was a delight to see the wild ponies. Church Stretton is such a bustling little town. We had an evening meal and breakfast which was lovely. Perk was an 80's themed night , with band, fancy dress and dancing. All the locals were very friendly and we all had a ball. would reccomend to others and I hope to return.”
