We parked up here, went for a long dog walk and then went in for some lunch. Lovely quiet, traditional British pub with great and kind service and good food! Would recommend if you’re in the areaFood & drinks: Lovely homemade food. I had a fish finger sandwich and my husband had the pie, both really enjoyed it

Many thanks to the owners firstly for the delicious food and lovely Hobsons ale we enjoyed there in the evening, but secondly also, for being a really helpful port during storm Babette. Helping us to find an unblocked way out of the hills by using the Picklescott FB page is definitely above and beyond. Very much appreciated. Won't hesitate to call in again during better weather!Food & drinks: Tasty selection of starters, mains and desserts. Reasonably priced.

Stayed at a cottage nearby and dined here twice. Staff very friendly and accommodating with my gluten free requests. Food was very good.

We have an annual holiday in the area and always stop for a drink with our horses, but tonight we had dinner (the horses stayed at Dudgley Farm) and every course and every meal for 9 of us was excellent, freshly cooked, top quality ingredients. Highly recommend and we will be back next year

This is a rare find friendly, nice setting and simple but very well done food.

Lovely pub in a quaint village. The food was very exceptional !My gripe is, when I stood at the bar (yes I'm here) the locals get served first ! I found that very rude.

Difficult roads to encounter to get to this place but well worth it. Great food, lovely staff. Will be back.

Had Sunday lunch and was very satisfied with the roast beef and all the trimmings. Summer pudding dessert was lovely. Good real ale (Hobson's) Only downside was that we were stuck on our own in a room, so no atmosphere. Pub is in beautiful countryside and worth the trip.

Visited twice in the evenings from our holiday cottage for the week close by. Both times we had a lovely welcome with great food. Pub very atmospheric with very friendly staff. Situated in a lovely small village. Well worth a visit and dog friendly as well.
