£4.70 for a tiny, not very moist sausage roll. it's unfathomable.. The NT are laughing ?.. daylight robbery!

2 pieces of the worst/driest cake I’ve had in my life for £8. Couldn’t have a take away drink as no cups.

This café is spot on as a place to start or end a walk. It has a range of takeaway or eat-in options at a very reasonable price. There were many vegan options, including a vegan sausage roll, a very tasty cauliflour pasty (plus an additional cheesy vegetarian pasty). There were also several vegan sweet options, including a chocolate cookie and a berry flapjack. They had two types of alternative milk available at no extra cost. There wasn't a plant based sandwich, but we felt there was plenty to choose from for the plant based members of our group. The food was tasty and the staff were extremely friendly and professional.

Bit expensive, but very tasty food. Perfect treat after a long walk!

Only one sandwich gluten free, no other choices. No cake, soup or baked potato. Sandwich not enjoyable. Coffee, ok.

I suffer from asthma and was refused to be served due to being exempt from wearing a face mask. Don’t waste your time coming here, the staff are rude and prejudiced.

Stopped in for a quick cup of tea and cake just before closing time. Staff very friendly and quick service. National Trust membership is handy as car parking is free for members.

This cafe serves some of the best food I ever tasted as well as a large selection of food it has lots of places to sit and warm up after a long walk. The place it is in is simply beautiful and there are so many walks to do I love going there and I always want to come back

Edit - I originally gave only 1 star as the cafe previously wasn't dog friendly, however, they have updated their policy and now it is which is great news and very much welcomed by the huge amount of dog walkers who visit the area each year, and the locals. Nice friendly staff and a fantastic setting

Very nice place, lovely settings, very expensive place to eat, even for basic food, not being jewish or tight I can literally afford to eat anyway and pay any prices butbasically i really think they are ripping you off. Keith Stourbridge.
