When we entered we recognised this pub/restaurant as one we had visited previously. Both occasions on route to home. We were served promptly, everything was as we wished for and the food was perfect. We'll definitely visit again.

Proper pub with great selection of proper beers and great food, just the thing to round off a walk in the Long Mynd. Boot covers thoughtfully provided so muddy walkers can get some well earned refreshment

Good selection on menu including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Very friendly staff. Beautiful views from the beer garden.Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten Free options. Both on the main menu and the vegetarian options.
We had dinner here a couple of times while staying in the area. Good selection of dishes. Food well cooked and tasty. Friendly, efficient service. It also has a large garden which is very popular. What's not to like? Booking recommended, even midweek as it is a very popular pub.

Visited as part of a week's holiday in Shropshire; dropped in for lunch when touring the Church Stretton area. Was greeted by friendly staff and sat down for a meal of whitebait, squid followed by ribs and one of house special burgers. The starters were excellent and washed down with a pint of Butty Bach went down well with the mains. A traditional and unspoilt pub worthy of a visit if you're in the area.

On a Monday night we called in for a meal. We had not booked and the place was very busy with all tables reserved. The Manager however was very helpful and as it was early let us take a table which was booked for later. We ordered 2 burgers and fries, which were excellent and the best burger ever! The phone kept ringing for bookings and people only able to be fitted in outside, (a sunny day) shows how good this place is and how grateful we were to be given a table. A must visit but be sure to book ahead.

Absolutely amazing place. We're a family of 5 who has just completed a 3 hour walk through the near by hills and with 3 hungry children and a dog we needed somewhere close and dog friendly. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Very friendly and polite. Food came out fast. 5/5 for everything. Will definitely be returning.
