I couldn't get inside as there was a lot of steps. As it was warm weather I sat outside whilst my companion went in to order. The young man brought my drink out to me.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of steps no sign to indicate a disabled friendly entrance

Booked for their monthly pop up Thai night. Partner and I shared all three starters as we couldn’t decide between them! The chicken and coconut soup was fresh, with melt in the mouth chicken and veg. The mixed starter consisting of spring rolls, sweetcorn cakes and chicken satay was just amazing and the Laab Gai (minced chicken salad) was one of the most delicious foods I have ever eaten! We then had sweet & sour pork and red chicken curry for mains and we ate the LOT! Every mouthful was superb! I’m not usually a pudding eater but I opted for the grilled pineapple and my partner had “Chef Special banana fritters”, both served with ice cream and both absolutely fabulous!! The price was incredibly reasonable and they also offered a bottle of wine for the table at only £10.00! Kelly and Keira were wonderful hosts , chatty and friendly and really made us feel at home and hats off to the Chef and kitchen staff for delivering such delicious fresh meals. 10 stars!!!! We will definitely be returning and wish they did this every week!!

Wonderful service in this lovely little pub. Food was reasonably priced I loved the gammon ham egg and chips, and the team worked hard to cater for our large party. Good beers too

We were staying in the area. We went on a Friday, which is usually 'open mic' night and the performers were very good. The staff were friendly, with some good local beers. The menu was standard fare cooked and served well. The decor is 'classic' UK pub. There is also a good sized pub garden and parking.

Having stumbled across this place we decided to go for lunch. We were met with a very pleasant lady called Jacqueline who served us with drinks and then showed us to a table although we hadn’t booked it wasn’t a problem we chose from the menu and when it came was amazing. Certainly value for money, ample portions different condiments to support our meals. Cooked to perfection piping hot (hot plates too ) which is rare in most places these days. Definitely 10/10 will certainly go again.

We booked just 3 days before for 15 people for Sunday lunch, and had such a wonderfully easy experience! Jacqui was very accommodating even with some last minute changes. The food was lovely, we all left very full and feeling very much welcomed to the area! 10/10 would recommend.

Good food, service and pop up food bars through the month. Regular music and quiz events. Check the website for current activities. Dog friendly.

Big very traditional country pub with a car park more likely to be filled with old Daihatsu Fourtracks and tractors than the latest BMW X5s. But if you want to get the feel for an area then this will do it. Good range of beers, friendly bar staff and locals.

Coming alive after the crisis, not ready for food just yet but gearing up for a full return with a Hog roast looming on the 20th August. Kelly was very pleasant and worked hard running the pub. Really looking forward to the restaurant service returning

With plenty of footpaths in the area, this makes an ideal stop when walking. This time was.for Sunday lunch, which was popular but not crowded. The food was tasty and good value for money, with options for 2/3 courses and cheap drinks. The roast beef was particularly good. The layout is ideal, with a large cosy olde worlde dining area and a separate bar area popular with locals. Outside is a lovely beer garden in a real sun trap. The real draw is the servce, with friendly & attentive staff really looking after you. The landlady is so friendly and ensures all her guests are well looked after. Ideal.
