The Swan Inn
B4368, Aston MunslowDropped in here without a booking one lunchtime and got the last table. Food and service were good with decent sized portions.Decided to return the next day for lunch but couldn't park within half a mile (both car parks full, cars double parked, cars on grass verges and lining lanes) of the place so had to go somewhere else. Beware parking can be a nightmare! Shame. Maybe better parking rather than shepherds huts may've been the way to go.

The Crown Inn
Clunton, Craven ArmsWe were staying near Clun for the weekend and booked a table at this lovely pub on Saturday night . The landlady Michelle was so friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. Can definitely recommend steak night at the Crown and the most delicious chips. We will definitely be back.

The Station Cafe
42 Shrewsbury Rd, Craven ArmsMy brother and I have been camping near Craven Arms and found this cafe via Google. It's a great place to go for breakfast. Decent portions at a very reasonable price. The owner is also friendly and the service is great. I would recommend it if you are in the area and want to get fuelled up for the days walking.

Hundred House Inn
Purslow, Craven ArmsBooked for their monthly pop up Thai night. Partner and I shared all three starters as we couldn’t decide between them! The chicken and coconut soup was fresh, with melt in the mouth chicken and veg. The mixed starter consisting of spring rolls, sweetcorn cakes and chicken satay was just amazing and the Laab Gai (minced chicken salad) was one of the most delicious foods I have ever eaten! We then had sweet & sour pork and red chicken curry for mains and we ate the LOT! Every mouthful was superb! I’m not usually a pudding eater but I opted for the grilled pineapple and my partner had “Chef Special banana fritters”, both served with ice cream and both absolutely fabulous!! The price was incredibly reasonable and they also offered a bottle of wine for the table at only £10.00! Kelly and Keira were wonderful hosts , chatty and friendly and really made us feel at home and hats off to the Chef and kitchen staff for delivering such delicious fresh meals. 10 stars!!!! We will definitely be returning and wish they did this every week!!

Sun Inn
Rosemary Ln, Leintwardine, Craven ArmsWe wandered through the door in the evening, not knowing quite what to expect. Walked through an old lounge and into a lovely bar. Rob is the barman and a lovely guy, and what a welcoming group of people! This is a reason why we will be coming back to the village amongst others. We felt we'd been friends for years. Thanks to all, and we look forward to returning!

The Lion
7 High St, Leintwardine, Craven ArmsA wonderful dining experience. The Lion is a well run establishment with a cosy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming with good knowledge of the excellent and diverse menu which is competitively priced and they are happy to answer any questions the customer may have. Maintained to a high standard it is clean and well organised and run with great efficiency and attention to detail. I have no hesitation at all in recommending the Lion to everyone and will definitely dine there again as soon as I can

The Apple Tree
Onibury, Craven ArmsAbsolutely cracking little pub in an old post office store, so big windows and scrubbed pine tables. Been meaning to pop in for ages to try the well kept beer - Wye Valley and Ludlow on when we visited, possibly more! Lots of CAMRA certificates displayed. Lovely landlord even though we only stayed for a pint and no food. ??

Route 49
44 Shrewsbury Rd, Craven ArmsStopped last night (Monday) to get fish and chips for my wife and myself. The guy serving was friendly and professional. The fish was freshly cooked as were the chips. Very nice fish with slightly tough batter and not too large portion of chips. The shop is modern and clean if a little lacking in atmosphere but the guy serving me made up for it. I will be back soon.Parking: Plenty of space in front and side of the shop that is set back from the main road.

Raza's
5 Corvedale Rd, Craven ArmsWe have just finished one of the most delicious takeaways we have ever had. Food was freshly cooked, generous portions and the meat was tender. I had the Lamb Korai and it was perfect blend in a rich sauce. My Daughter went for the Pepperoni Pizza with stuffed crust which was equally delicious . Highly recommend.
