Great selection of beers and friendly crowd. Seems the locals pub in the village and a bit less polished than the Lion but no worse for it.

Brilliant place, originally a very small parlour pub. Excellent beers and a good chippy close by.

We wandered through the door in the evening, not knowing quite what to expect. Walked through an old lounge and into a lovely bar. Rob is the barman and a lovely guy, and what a welcoming group of people! This is a reason why we will be coming back to the village amongst others. We felt we'd been friends for years. Thanks to all, and we look forward to returning!
