We went here for mother's day.Food was great, generous portions and staff were happy and attentive.The building itself is lovely and very old.Set in a lovely location.The puddings were lovely too.Thank you all for a great evening!

Stayed here several times overnight on way to a motorcycle event. No nonsense straightforward pub. Friendly helpful staff ? Would I stay again? Yes! No problem.Parking: Parking at rear of pub, ok for motorcycles.

Been there several times with groups of friends. The menu is quite extensive and has some unique dishes that you don't find in typical pubs. Highly recommended. They also managed larger parties of 10 or more without any fuss.
