The Shropshire Distillery
Eastwick Ln, EllesmereI got this experience as a gift for my mum and I for something for us to do together. The experience ran 3/6pm and we had the most amazing time. You get 5 gins throughout the experience to try and get to make your own, leaving the day with your very own 70cl bottle of gin! Emma and Gareth were amazing throughout the day making it a personal and interactive experience along the way. Would highly recommend this experience for anyone. We will definitely be back!

The Vault

Go down the stairs into the Vaults/cellar, and you'll be amazed at what greets you...wow!
Great relaxing and calm atmosphere with good beers and drinks. There is some food available, and maybe next time, I'll try the chef's burger.
The music in the background was excellent and fitted in with the good vibes of this amazing pub.
Definitely recommend a visit to this pub. The landlords and locals are fantastic..
Thanks for an amazing experience, and I'll definitely be back again.
Parking: Paid town parking along with lots of free parking in and around Ellesmere town centre...
Wheelchair accessibility: Possibility of wheelchair access through the rear garden entrance, although I'm sure the landlords will be available to help you if you ask

Birch Rd, EllesmereYou step back in time as you walk in. Friendly community vibe pub, untouched by time. We visited to be greeted with re-enactments, outside bars and BBQ, great fun and great ale, supplied by their own brewery.

Church St, EllesmereLovely pub in a busy village. Good accommodation although the room was on the small side (but still excellent value) but fine for one or two nights.
Food was good excellent!
The entrance to the car park is very very narrow but Range Rovers seem to get in and out.

31 Cross St, Ellesmere3rd year coming here for a birthday meal and it has been great every time! The food quality and presentation is amazing. Great value for money for what you get! It’s like being back in Greece on a holiday (minus the weather ?)
We came as a family and the children’s meals were superb, not one of our 3 children complained. Staff were very friendly and patient when it came to ordering. They were always on hand when we wanted to order extra drinks. Highly recommended ordering the meze as it’s a great way to try different Greek food. The food kept coming and coming & we felt well satisfied at the end. Thank you very much ?

6 Scotland St, EllesmereDelicious slightly different food to usual cafés. Asked for Americano with less water and were very pleased to do it. Very obliging with others slightly altered orders.
Sourdough toast with avocado scrambled eggs and bacon. Cheese on toast with pineapple or chilli jam.
Really good recommendation from a relative.

Pizza The Mere
hotel, High St, EllesmerePizzas were really good. Was a bit difficult to find where to collect, it's inside the hotel, through the doors on the right and the kitchen was on the left. They left the pizzas on the side for us to collect so we weren't waiting around.

23 Cross St, EllesmereSurprisingly nice, not what I expected. A free kinda chocolate bar for my daughter was a nice touch as we waited for our pizzas. Cheery guy serving, Not the cheapest around, but certainly very tasty. 12 "Americana pictured.
