Was everything one might expect from. Michelin listed restaurant - and more. The setting is lovely, overlooking the lawns of the Fishmore Halls hotel just outside of Ludlow, with fields and the Shropshire hills beyond. The service was impeccable and faultless. Booked in for the tasting menu. Ordered classic and vegetarian option. Personally didn’t want to try the tasting menu as I’m not as much of a foody as my partner. Have to say that the taste of all the courses were amazing and happily ate everything. Partner has had tasting menus before and she said it’s nicest one she’s had. We stayed at the hotel and chose the tasting menu for dinner. The menu was well constructed, every course was superb. I especially liked the venison. Serving staff were attentive and the restaurant was well presented. Overall a lovely evening.
