Sourced is a locally run pizza place in Ludlow, and used locally grown ingredients on the pizzas.
I had a Shropshire Shroom pizza, which is a mushroom flavoured pizza, with mozzarella, pesto and nuts.
The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the quality of the pizzas second-to-none.
I'd highly recommend trying this place out if you are visiting Ludlow for a few days.

Mortimers

I was here last night for my birthday treat and it was absolutely outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection (the duck with fennel was a revelation), the service was excellent and we had a fantastic night. They lose a star because unfortunately I was a little chilly all evening. It is an old building but apart from 15th-century heating it's a fabulous venue. I hope I can return soon and I recommend Mortimer's to anyone who appreciates fine food in a gorgeous setting.

Such a great recommendation, we ate here twice during our 3 day stay in Ludlow. The food is so good - inventive, full of flavour, fresh, just brilliant. We also managed to bag a legendary cinnamon bun #iykyk. Can't recommend this place enough.

Squirrel

Had a beautiful meal here yesterday the starter mushrooms were beautiful then I had the three meat roast it was absolutely amazing. Our waiter Helen was so lovely served us with a lovely smile very friendly and welcoming we had a lovely chat with her she couldn’t do enough for us she is a credit to the pub

Blue Boar

Great find of a pub. Very cosy and inviting with lovely fire. Staff welcoming. Great choice of wines and cocktails. Had a great selection of non alcoholic cocktails too as well as other drinks. We ate there too. Food very tasty and high quality ingredients. Place was very busy and we did book in advance. We visited Ludlow for the weekend. Would definitely return if we come back to the area.

The Codfather

Hidden away on a housing estate in ludlow. All My years here and I've never even been aware of it. But family away and long drive back from the airport I decided I didn't want to cook finding somewhere open on Sunday night leaves you with little choice in ludlow and with the road closed even less accessibility. However google maps directed me here. And even just with location I was sceptical. But the lady serving was very pleasant. The food was well cooked and the chips with a red tint were crisp and full of flavour highly recommend

Delicious food and welcoming service. We had no table booked but this was not a problem. I really never know what to choose so I explained what flavours I like and a dish was prepared to perfection. Prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. Thank you to all the team ?

Always delicious. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews, and complaints about price... Good, home made food, everything is fresh. Comfortable, clean, fast. What's not to like?

Aragon's

We visited Aragon’s Restaurant twice over a November weekend for breakfast, with two adults and our 8-year-old, and it quickly became our favourite start to the day. The mixed English breakfast was well cooked and generous, the scrambled eggs on toast were light and comforting, and the sausage sandwich went down a treat. Everything felt freshly prepared and unpretentious, exactly what you want in the morning.

The experience was made even better by the friendly, helpful waiter who made us feel genuinely welcome on both visits. Aragon’s was chosen as an alternative over the hotel we stayed in and ended up being our preferred breakfast spot, which says a lot. Relaxed, family-friendly and consistently good, we wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we’re in Ludlow.

Be aware that due to it's well deserved popularity, the cafe can fill up swiftly on a weekend, even more so when the market is present. Booking in advance is recommended.

The Old Bakehouse

Delicious food which arrived fast - I had the veggie wrap and my husband had a spicy chicken one, plus a lovely brownie for pudding. The music wasn't too loud, just nice in the background. Definitely recommended.

The Queens

Came here as a visitor from Leicester so new to the village. We had a drink here and the staff and atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. Jane the owner is extremely friendly and helpful giving us lot's of tips. Highly recommend this place for any visitors.

The Blood Bay

Lovely little parlour pub, frozen in time. Lady behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. Good ale and I loved their no phones policy. No TV, no slot machines, no sky sports. This is a proper ale house.

Old Street Tavern

I stayed in The Pepper House Rooms on the evening 8th April, which are beautifully presented, & met the host, Andrew the Host, who went above and beyond, I can not recommend them enough, superb value, friendly atmosphere and right in the centre too.

The Castle Inn

Great, proper pub in lovely surroundings. Perfectly kept garden. Really friendly service and friendly locals. Beer perfectly kept. Cash only but not a problem . . . When a pub doesn't look like a pub, it's probably good!

Kin Kitchen

Lovely place. Good value for money. Old school type of nursery. Nice change from the big commercial ones. When I was there sheep were in the shed and fowl in the pen. Great to have a look at.

Chapter 66 Ludlow

I had a pleasant lunch here after visiting the adjacent castle.

My order consisting of hot chocolate, tap water, bread, butter, and a beef sandwich containing blue cheese and caramelised onions.

The food itself was excellent and very tasty. The service was exceptional, with the young moustachioed member of staff having an extremely calm, friendly, and accommodating manner that really stood out as a rarity these days in terms of customer service. I felt like my custom mattered, which I really appreciated.

Atmosphere wise it is a relaxing one, with wooden furniture and calm colour tones.

Best of all, the cost of lunch was surprisingly low for how good it was.

I highly recommend dining here. 10/10

Taste At No 1

Stopped at Taste for lunch and a drink while we were in Ludlow today. Staff were great and I can see why it was busy. It was so good we went back later in the day for a cake. My boy loved his Milkshake and it didn’t take long to eat the macaroons either!

Cafe V

Nice little cafe. Worth a visit. This is a more traditional fry up cafe. The food was nice but it is on the more expensive side of this type of cafe. The people who run the place were very friendly amd the service was good. Unfortunately as we were there a group of lads inn a van turned up parked on the double yellow lines outside amd proceeded to have a go at an elderly gentleman trying to move his car. This of course is not Amy fault of the cafe but does highlight a problem with parking. I do believe this is worth a visit.

The Cafe at ASE Ludlow

Great place. Had breakfast. Clean, great value and superb quality. The service is excellent. Food outstanding nothing too much trouble.
The lady ( sorry didn't catch her name) polite, helpful and a great cook.
Spotlessly clean floor, table , chairs and cutlery. Don't let the position put you off.
Best breakfast we have had in years. Great portion.

A lovely little bakery with s large selection of delightful homemade cakes and savoury pastries etc .super value and tasty ...will be back very soon for another treat

The Kingfisher

Visited a few nights ago as we couldn’t be bothered to cook, food is excellent and reasonably priced, they sell both English and Chinese and accept payment by cash or card, staff very helpful and highly recommend Irish curry sauce.

Never been to a Subway before but were staying in Ludlow and decided to pop in to buy a quick snack. We were pleasantly surprised as we were able to choose our fillings in the rolls and thoroughly enjoyed them. The service was quick and efficient and gloves were worn at all times. The food was cheaper than I had expected.

The Cliffe at Dinham

We came here for valentines day during a weekend in Ludlow. The food was BEAUTIFUL. The staff are so attentive and could not do enough. Lovely place, lovely setting would definitely come back, thank you.

Subway

The ladies behind the counter, Gayle & Aga were lovely, explained everything really clearly with the new menu and all with a smile on their faces. Plus the food was all fresh and really tasty. The Plaice

People double park just to get their chips ! also plenty of selection of other yummies to go with. Big supermarket next door for more extra bits and bobs, then home to stay warm and enjoy.
The chip team are great and fun.
Place is clean, and food is fresh, simply because they have so much demand for their food.

The Wheatsheaf Inn

We visited for dinner recently with family, and we were massively impressed. We had no expectations, but found everything delicious. Especially the ShortRib Beef, which was beautifully tender. The chips were probably the best I've ever had.

The puddings were well presented and generously proportioned. And we had practically a bucket of custard along with.

Service was wonderful and it's full of character. Very pleased, well recommended and will visit again.

Evergreen Fish Bar

We were staying in Ludlow and fancied a Chinese for a change. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The best sweet and sour and special fried rice(a meal in itself!) ever. Joy was very helpful. We definitely recommend this takeaway.

Strangely quiet on our Thurs eve visit in April.
1 other person and us.
Lovely pint of Butty Bach in top condition.
Friendly server.
Would have preferred not to listen to the videos on the phones of staff who were sat at a near by table.
But really no idea why it wasn't busier tho..
