I visited this cafe/restaurant on 17th March 2024. The service was good. Atmosphere was fine. Food was tasty. But I couldn't believe the price in relation to portion sizing . Unless they made a mistake in the portion sizing. We had one piece of toast with a welsh rarebit sauce grilled ontop. with about 4 mixed salad leaves and a slice of onion and that was about £10 each.Vegetarian options: limited vegetarian options

The perfect spot for breakfast in the picturesque town of Ludlow. Food was delicious and they were very accommodating of my vegan diet. Hope to come back for a stay in one of their gorgeous rooms as well!

Visited for lunch, food, service (once seated) and atmosphere superb, well recommended.Area of improvement needs to be welcoming new customers - our experience is that people are made to wait by the entrance for a prolonged period before being greeted by staff- we witnessed some people leave because of the wait - it's very unwelcoming. But can't fault the quality of food and service once seated. Prawn sandwich and soup, brilliant.

Kin Kitchen self catering apartments are a fantastic place to stay in the middle of lovely Ludlow. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed during a freezing cold snap but were cosy and warm. We were a group of 3 couples so had an apartment each and were all delighted with them. John and his team couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and we enjoyed excellent food choices downstairs in the cafe. A council car park is available nearby at a cost of £4.80 per day.

I was one of the musicians who played at October's "First Thursday" event, from the duo "The Whiskey River Boys". We were treated with courtesy and respect from the moment we arrived, the stage was all set with a very nice in-house PA so all we had to do was "plug in and play". The staff really looked after us, the acoustics were terrific and the clientele very warm and friendly. I can't wait to go back.

Came across Kin Kitchen by chance - surprisingly busy for a spot off the main square, but realised that's due to the excellent food, pleasant staff and really charming venue (especially the garden). We had Whitby crab and quisedillas - both delicious. Portions are not huge - but elegant and well-presented food. Lots of locals there, not a tourist trap at all! Looking forwards to going back next time we visit Ludlow.
