The changes they have made are not for the better. People with limited mobility will struggle with the new system of ordering food. With staff carrying trays of food and hot drinks an accident could happen. We would have liked extra coffee and cake but it was too much hassel to requeue and pay again. Such a pity the old system was more personel with the staff and less hassel for the customer. Very disappointed.

I'm not sure whats happened to the kitchen, if it's changed owners maybe? But I was really disappointed with today's visit for lunch.I've been here a number of times previously and always had a lovely lunch but it seems today there was a new system in place which to be honest, was terrible.Apparently now instead of being seated to a table and your order taken, you now have to get your table and then que to order your food. I'm not too sure who thought this was a good idea but it definitely is not practical considering most of the customers are of an older age and may find it less relaxing to stand in a que for 15 minutes. The food is different too? When ordering a £9.95 Halloumi and roasted veg wrap, I was told it was going to be warm. But it came out cold? And with literally just a wrap and a splodge of coleslaw on the plate, it looked lost on the plate. Wraps and sandwiches used to come with a small salad but for some reason this was stopped. It was incredible expensive for what it was. A couple of ladies on another table were saying exactly the same thing. It's just a shame as we now will not visit again. It used to be so lovely, food was wholesome, it was relaxing and now it was just stressful and disappointing.

Our party of 4 arrived for lunch and joined the queue of about 8 people outside the door waiting to be allocated a table ( many empty tables were available). The member of staff on duty was showing diners to their table, taking payment from customers leaving, and other jobs as well, she was doing a great job of trying to cover everything, definitely a two person job.We ordered 4 lunches, the chilli jacket potato was very disappointing with hardly any filling, the ham and egg meal was very dry, the other two meals were OK.We have dined here many times for many years and the quality is not what it has been in the past. I hate to criticise a Shropshire business during these difficult times but have given an accurate assessment of our visit.A Shropshire OAP.

A great café adjacent to the A49 just north of Ludlow. An extensive menu for food and drink and once you're done a few steps takes you to the Farm Shop where you can stock up on goodies.

One of our favourite places for coffee and lunch. Always busy but rarely have long to wait. Nice seating area outside too.Dietary restrictions: Wide range of optionsParking: Plenty of parking but very busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Whole place is very accessible but noisy so not good for people with a hearing impairment.

Staff could not provide allergy menu when asked. Server had not even heard of such a thing. Eventually managed to find the file with it in but the manager had taken all of the menu out of it and put it in their office. But didn’t not offer to go get it or anything. Server had never heard of a soy allergy ?‍?Dietary restrictions: Do not go here if you have allergies. Could not provide information on what allergens the dishes contained when asked.

Visited today with friends for lunch, ordered a cheese sandwich & a latte, Our lunch came out very quick but coffee's took about 10 minutes!! I've had many sandwiches here & have struggled to finish them because of the portion size, but today's was very disappointing. It looked chucked on the plate with a tiny pot of coleslaw. No garnish & certainly not worth £6.95, Won't be having food there again !!
