Lovely breakfast (wondefull scrambled eggs) and excellent coffee. Friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely lovely. Such friendly and helpful staff and the food was delicious (with generous portions). We had our toddler and without asking they made sure his food was cooked first and was cooler by the time it came and had no seasoning on. If I lived nearby i’d certainly be a

Wow, what a fantastic meal! I came here to treat my mum and it was nothing less than perfection, steak cooked exactly as requested and lasagne very obviously home made. Great service from friendly staff. Overall a great dining experience, we will definitely be retuning.

For an anniversary meal, we could not have chosen a better venue in Ludlow! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by the charming waitress who remained attentive to our every need throughout the meal. Each course of food was beautifully presented and was absolutely delicious. The (relatively short) wine list made it not too difficult to choose a bottle that complimented the food perfectly. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you.
Best bacon in Ludlow!!!! We have visited many times and had coffee and cake - always very pleasant Today as we visited at 11ish we had bacon roll - WOW!!! Easily the best bacon we have had in the Ludlow area, plenty of very very tasty bacon. The service is excellent too!!!

Lovely little restaurant, booked a table but it was very quiet for a Friday night. Friday is very much advertised as fish but the main menu is available if you request it. I started with king scallops and black pudding, this was nice but the scallops were quite small. My husband had the pheasant off the normal menu which was probably the disappointment of the entire meal. It was quite dry and barely any sauce which it needed. Beef wellington and fish main were lovely, as were the desserts. I think from the amazing reviews I expected to be blown away and unfortunately I wasn’t. I still enjoyed my meal though. Waiting staff were lovely ?
Thank you! Very good service and beautiful restaurant!

Have been here many times for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is beautiful. You can immediately tell that you have good quality local produce. I don’t like baked beans and it is never a problem to get them swapped for another item. Lunchtime menu is quite varied and you can have a light lunch or something more substantial again the staff and chef cannot do enough to cater to any preferences you may have. I have also been for fish Friday I would thoroughly recommend this. Expertly cooked fish plenty of choices to mix and match. I had the trio of fish for a small extra charge highly delicious Next stop is Japanese night. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Staff never try to rush you and are always polite.

We went on 'Fish Feast Friday' and hadn't booked but were greeted with a friendly smile and offer of an immediate table for two. The 3-course menu offered many tempting dishes and we settled for Fishcake with Poached Egg (for my fiancee) and Tempura King Prawns for me as our starters. Both were hot and delicious. For mains, my fiance opted for Cornish Hake whilst I chose Halibut. Both dishes were again delicious and were served with our choices of two side dishes each. Pudding was equally scrumptious and the whole meal was served swiftly by the very friendly and capable staff. A great meal at a very competitive price. Well done! We'll definitely be back!

We arrived without a reservation and were instantly made to feel welcome by the lovely staff. Our food was superb and beautifully presented, my salmon was perfectly cooked and my husband’s steak was the tastiest he had had in a very long time! We will definitely be back!

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from holiday. It was OK. We sat outside as we had our dog with us, so I can't comment on what the overall ambience inside is like. Wheelchair accessibility was certainly tricky though.I had a vegan version of the vegetarian breakfast (there was no advertised vegan option). I was confused by the inclusion of boiled waxy potatoes and tbh it felt very low effort. No vegan spread for the toast, even! My husband had the sizzle, and it was decent, he really enjoyed the sausages especially.
