“We haven’t been to Pickles for a long long time. Since we’d had a not so great take away we’d always been big supporters of the competition across the road; The Jaipur. However, we went last night with an open mind . It was packed when arrived but we were soon shown to our table. The menu is varied. There’s the standards that you’d expect from any Indian menu and a good selection of specials. We couldn’t find fault with any of our meals. Everything arrived at our table hot - cooked to order. The popdoms were especially fresh. Naan breads were very good too. We’d finished our starters but the waiter asked if we wanted what was left of the popadoms. They even brought more of the dips and onion salad. Nice to nibble on with the rest of our meal. Our mains were all spot on. Cooked fresh and very tasty. If we’re honest we perhaps ordered too much food. Portion sizes are generous. We couldn’t finish everything. Don’t forget that Pickles doesn’t have a drinks license. You have to take your own. This helps keep the price down though. Don’t think we’ll leave it as long before we eat at Pickles again. It was spot on and very good value,”

“Ten of us shared a family meal here on Wednesday evening during a family holiday. It’s the first time any of us have eaten here and I would unreservedly recommend it. The staff were polite and very accommodating. One of my pet hates is that restaurant food is often lukewarm - The food here was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!”
