Bit of a shame this review is. The staff at the bar and the lady who came to the table were lovely. The pub is not busy today but waiting times for fish & chips over half an hour. We had 1 carvery as well. For food rating. We would never visit again. The veg had clearly been left to go dry. No taste to the carvery. Half way through the fish and it stopped breaking up and didnt look or taste right. In the end, give up. Will pop to macdonalds. My feedback is to the kitchen staff to step up or maybe find another career.

I have to visit at least once a week for my Carvery feast and they never disappoint. The staff are always friendly and check if there is ever anything extra they can provide. 10/10 food, service and atmosphere. I always recommend people to pop in.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They cater all needs.Parking: Awesome on site parking, free of charge to the pubs customers. Never had a problem with finding parking even on busier days.Kid-friendliness: Wacky warehouse to entertain the children while you enjoy quality adult time with friends or family.

We had the Mix and Match starters. They food was hot and very tasty. Very well presented and came out quite quickly. We ordered via the app which was very simple to use and navigate through. We will definitely be back and may try the carvery next time as that also looked amazing. The staff were all friendly and efficient.

Stopped in on the way to Alton. Wow amazing carvery, possibly one of the best I've visited. Excellent value for money and very friendly staff. Our granddaughter is a very fussy eater but cleared her plate saying "it's just like nanny's " Highly recommended - will definitely come again as long as the chef remains the same . 10/10

It was quite quiet there it was too hot to eat, so we had the chicken and bacon salad. The carvery looked delicious and seemed to be selling well. We also had a sharing sundae for dessert. It was too much for me but hubby ate the rest.Parking: Loads of parking spaces including disabled and dropped kerbs.Kid-friendliness: Children were welcomed to come in and eat and lots of high chairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps and floor room clear for wheelchair users with a disabled toilet available

A lovely Pub & Carvery with plenty of character and loads of space. We had a gorgeous piping hot breakfast. One regular and one ultimate size although the former would have sufficed as the portions were huge. Very good food. The staff were very warm and friendly and the customer service was excellent. We look forward to seeing you again. Highly recommended ??Parking: Open and spacious

Had a carvery lunch with family. The carvery itself had a good selection of potatoes and vegetables that were fresh. I had the beef which was very good. We had spoke to several members of staff in the course of our visit and they were unfailingly pleasant and helpful even though it must have been very hot serving by the hot-plate. We were meeting people at a half way point and we wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Just had the best carvery I’ve had for a long time, the gammon and beef just melted in your mouth, management and staff are very helpful and polite, nothing is too much effort if you need anything. Will be back just booked in for Christmas it was that good. Steve
