We visited Much Wenlock for a little look around the village after going for a walk at the Much Wenlock National trust site. We decided to pop into this pub for something to eat.as it was dog friendly and served all day. We recieved a really warm welcome. Even our little doggie was made to feel right at home with fuss and treats. We only wanted a quick snack. I had a tuna jacket and my husband had a fiery chicken burger and chips. It was cooked freshly to our order and was of a generous size. Good wholesome pub grub. Nothing wrong with that. A hidden gem in a quiet little village. We would certainly visit again if in the area.

Food was lovely. We ate from the £12 menu which included a drink of your choice.We had the pie with chips (we changed to chips instead) & peas. Also chicken tikka massala. Both were well executed & tasty. The young lady serving us was very helpful. The bar accepts dogs, which is a bonus for those of us who are dog owners. Would recommend.

Not been to Much Wenlock in a while as live about 25 miles away. Here today for a walk & dropped into the Fox. What an absolute gem & so, so friendly. The £12 menu with a drink was amazing. So fresh & delicious & served so quickly, despite being mega busy. Absolutely loved it & coming back next Saturday with more friends . Thank you. ??
