This pub was my regular when I lived locally, but I hadn't been for a couple of years. We went on Saturday with my husband, mum and 2 kids (4 and 2) and were given a really warm welcome by Ben and the team. They were so helpful and very patient with the kids! Food was excellent with very generous portions (try the buttermilk chicken burger) and plenty of choice on draught. What a delightful little pub, made to feel very welcome and it’s dog friendly! The food was proper delicious pub food! Really recommend it. The staff were super welcoming and friendly.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch (for 11 of us including 4 children), combined with great friendly service from Millie, Alfie and Jodie in a wonderful old pub....what’s not to like!...we all had a brilliant time and will be back again soon.Definitely recommended.
