Changed a five star rating to a 3, girl today was so rude asked for my usual order and the young girl behind the till started making something else wasn't sure if it was mine then asked if I wanted salt and vinegar I said that's not what I ordered and rudely said "well what did you order"i told her and she went of shaking her head like I did something wrong ? how small Donna kebab sounds like cod and chips I'm not sure! Love the guy that owns it always offers my little one a chip lollipop ❤️ and been coming for years but was out of order today!

Always a great experience at Jones and at competitive rates. Food quality is always great and it's personally my number 1 fish and chip shop in the entire Telford and Newport area.Parking: Plenty of free parking adjacent to Jones'. Opposite the Waitrose car park

Lovely owner and friendly staff, I have been going there for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience so I would definitely recommend them

It was a weekend visit and there were plenty of staff on. No queues. In and out quickly and great fish and chips. Will definitely go again.

Well, we are visitors from Cornwall who regularly visit the area to see our son who lives there. There is no fish and chip shop in Cornwall that I’ve visited that even comes close - prob only Rex in Bugle. I have eaten at the coddy shack - Rick steins and all the fancy ones. It’s so clean, the service is slick and is clearly customer driven. The prices are cheaper than Cornwall, portions larger, and fish fresher!!! Should that be so?As a west country man I’ll no doubt be lynched for this review but I shall ask for Jones’s fish and chips as my last supper
Really good cod battered just right, nice flaky fish, lovely chips too & decent portions - best chippy for miles around in my opinion.

Friendly service, good food and a good price. Large car park nearby what more do you want. Well worth a detour from the Newport bypass.

Usually excellent but tonight the batter wasn’t crisp and it was doughy inside and not much fish. Waste of money £6.50 for the large fish

I have had food from this chip shop before, and it was amazing. Based on our previous experience, we thought that we would have a nice fish and chip supper. What a mistake that was, the chips were hard and a lot of them unedible, it looked like left overs from the lunch time. The fish was not what I had experienced before. It was dry and not very tasty. If this is the standard of food you get from such an established chippy I will not be using it again.
Great fish and chips wouldn't go anywhere
