“Was staying nearby and searched to find somewhere to get a pizza from and found this place.
Called to order and pay and chose the collection time.
Pizzas were ready at the pre-arranged time and they were really really lovely.
Great dough, plenty of toppings and so much cheaper than a rubbish takeaway or going to a restaurant.

Highly recommend the pizzas here!”

“It was our first time dining at The Edgmond Lion and it was incredibly good!! I had the pie of the day which is always a bit of a risk... But it paid off... Wow, it was massive, delicious, plenty of gravy, chips and veg on the side. Others had fish and chips with curry sauce which also didn't disappoint! We were too full to have dessert until we saw the menu... Raspberry and White Chocolate Roulade - Delicious! Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back again very soon.”

“This was by far the best curry we have had in a long time, if not ever. The staff were friendly and polite. There isn't a huge amount of room around much of the tables inside, so accessibility may be an issue for some, but that would be the only criticism I could make. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to going back.”

“Fantastic range of beers and lagers and ciders and bottled drinks. Always welcoming staff. Great beer garden and the pool table is good also.

They always do events for charity.
Regular live music. Pop down and have a look for yourself.”

“Another great BCA pub thats dog friendly, keeps and serves real ales well. Only downside lack of choice being all pale ale, NZ or citrus no dark stuff.”

“Went here to watch the rugby and wasn't disappointed.

Plenty of outside seating around two big screens and several inside.

Very friendly bar staff. Only one bitter on tap ( excluding John Smiths) but a nice pint of Guinness and very reasonable prices.

They don't serve food, but they're happy for you to order in and there is a bakers close by.”

“Just want to say how impressed we were with Alex friday 15th August he was working so hard to keep everyone happy on his own working the bar serving tables and anything else thar was needed shame all staff haven't got the same commitment and work ethics the buzzer on the table is a really good idea haven't seen that anywhere else!”
