“Nice lady behind the bar. Tried a Hawkstone - not bad.
Very nice country pub
Nice view out the front.
Sadly the pub is shutting in 3 weeks just as summer starts.”

“Another great comedy night missed Donald but a most worthy replacement and of course just the best cocktails.”

“Starters were great. Main was less so. Loads of gravy but the yorkshire puddings were quite flat and I think it was frozen carrots and broccoli.”

“A lovely, local tearoom! Very welcoming and friendly. The staff are very accommodating and cooked me a tasty mushrooms and cheese omelette. I have several food allergies and was delighted - and relieved not to worry about what I was eating and what “extras “ may come with it! Very good service, very good food - beautifully presented- and with a smile! I would definitely recommend this lovely Courtyard Eatery and shall visit again soon!”

“Had Sunday lunch here. Staff were so friendly and helpful, squeezing us in at the last minute. The roast was delicious! And they were happy to make up a vegetarian option for 2 of our children. The puddings were amazing and big portions... If you get the chance to try the bara brith bread and butter pudding you really should! Highly recommend.”

“Popped in here today for lunch whilst doing a bit of shopping around Oswestry. They accommodated 10 of us no problem at all. There is a good choice on the menu and the prices are very reasonable.
We can definitely recommend the lasagne and the steak and mushroom baguette. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will definitely be returning.”

“Lovely little cafe. Beautifully decorated inside. Lovely staff and delicious food, I had a Welsh breakfast cooked fresh. The eggs were delivered by a local farm while we were waiting! The cakes are also very tasty, plenty of choice which can be a bad thing when you love cake ?”

“Our go-to place for coffee, cake or a quick bite in Oswestry. Probably the best coffee in town and some outstanding cakes and pastries (particularly the Bara Brith and lemon meringue pie!). All the staff greet you like you are family.”
