Sadly the pub is shutting in 3 weeks just as summer starts.”

“I made a visit with a group of friends last Friday evening, we all had an excellent night, the pub has a lovely atmosphere about it & its well laid out, all the staff were lovely, efficient & very personable, myself & a couple of the guys certainly enjoyed our end of night chat with the landlord Andy, we had a great discussion regarding the the already good selection of ales they have on offer & where they may go with a couple of them in the future.
Early in the evening 9 of us sat down for a meal & between us made a good selection from across the menu, all agreed, the meals were excellent, tasty, plentiful, great ingredients & good value for money, I can certainly recommend the Wild Boar & Pork Hotdog off the specials board, a real play on the taste buds ? service was brilliant.
I shall be making a return visit in the not too distant future.
