You can sit outside and enjoy a decent sandwich in the sun while watching the world walk past. Conveniently not on a busy road

Visited the gift shop. Excellent range of lovely gifts and cards. I was helped to choose a gift by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable lady yesterday. Will definitely be back.

I've taken my granddaughter (6) here on a few occasions. Always friendly and good service. She loves the hot chocolate with marshmallows and the cream and jam scones!

Stopped for lunch with big sis on a Saturday. We both had toasties - i had ham and cheese and sis had the brie and cranberry. Super fresh bread and quality fillings, ham was really nice and proper ham - comes with side salad and a few crips. Pot of tea to share and even has Pickles the dog on tea pot. Very traditional old fashioned tea shop inside and very quaint. Selection of fab cakes and cream scones. Staff are so friendly. Has a nice outside seating area but we like to sit upstairs.

First visit post lockdown, disappointed to see such a change to menu,it used to make such lovely home cooked meals, now only offers mainly toasties and cake..coffee was nice but toastie disappointing, very bland ,salad smothered in vinegry dressing and a few pringles...?

Great service and very friendly. Cake is the best around.
Another great Oswestry eaterie. Cosy upstairs rooms or outside in the square with very friendly staff. Try their Welsh Rarebit, it's an education.Dog friendly inside and out.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options on the standard menu.

A few changes since I last was here and seems a little smaller than before. It's still a very special local shop and one of only a few where you can get any cards for any occasion in Welsh.

My grandad comes in to your cafe all the time and raves about your Welsh rarebit, and garlic mushrooms on toast, and always goes on about how lovely, and welcoming you are as staff. Especially Elisha and Emily :)

VERY disappointing. Welsh rarebit was inedible. Far too much mustard. Bread a bit burnt on the outside, doughy in the middle. Staff didn't react well to my comments. I wouldn't go again.
