Awesome waterfall worth a trip to!Falls are free (although signs of some barriers erected that may mean future fees). Parking is paid and has endless signs saying strict enforcement (not too welcoming). We parked in an area just before the official parking which was free and not blocking passing places. The walk itself is very short to reach the falls but I think there’s a few extra routes if you’d like to go further. The road to here is somewhat narrow with passing places but if you are used to countryside roads and able to take it slow and reverse when needed it is no problem.

An awesome waterfall, definitely worth five stars. You'll gasp when you take in this spectacular natural picture postcard. It truly is awe inspiring. Now the drive is a different story, let me add though you are going to see some magnificent backdrops that will have you pulling over and taking those forever memories with your cameras. A huge majority of the road you'll be driving is single track, there are many passing points but if anything like our journey you will be squeezed and probably the odd occasion forced to reverse back down the windy lanes so it's best your passenger is your worthy co-pilot and obviously be patient. We came across at least one boy racer and a local tractor driver so after a tricky reverse around a very problematic bend we finally carried on with our journey. I'm sure there may be easier routes available but I didn't plan that far ahead and honestly once we arrived it was definitely worth the bit of stress caused. Warning whilst there in the middle of nowhere you'll need 50p for the public convenience and £5 for the parking. You can park for free a short distance away but I'd have only risked parking there in a 4x4 but that's entirely up to you obviously. However you get there you will absolutely love the view. Make sure your camera is fully charged because you'll definitely be taking pics.

A beautiful waterfall to visit in Wales, well worth the climb to the top! It was £5 to park but free to enter, loads of parking on site. The drive in can be very techarous so caution is advised! It was very busy on the public Bank Holiday. There are two choices to climb to reach the top of the mountain, a steep quicker trail or a slow easier climb. It was an hours climb but beautiful views at the top with lots of space to explore ????????

Absolutely marvelous. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen.Easy to reach there but the way is slightly narrow. There are passing places but beware of the oncoming vehicles. Make sure to carry an extra pair of clothes as the water is not too deep and it's easy to get a dip in the water. Though slightly cold water, it's absolutely worthy of getting in. The main car park closes at 5 but the waterfall is open almost till night or even 24hrs. Park about 100-150mtrs away from the parking lot, there is a small car park that is free of cost but not enough space for more than 5-6 cars. We went there late at around 16:30 and stayed up till 7 and we spent all the time at the base of the waterfall. The path has a sign that navigates you to the top and to the base. When you are at the base, u can cross the bridge and go to the other side which gives you the best views of the falls. U can see the waterfalls slightly away as well, even when you are away from the parking lot. Kids need to be careful though, they can be fine until the bridge but anything near the falls can be slightly slippery. Absolutely stunning views and a place to be. Just loved it.

Absolutely stunning waterfall like nothing I've seen before in the UK. I'd recommend arriving early for parking and because of less people, making it a better experience. I walked to the top (the longer route) and the views were outstanding. Only down side one single lane in one single lane out can't imagine what that must be like on a busy day. There are lots of passing places on route though. There is a cafe and toilets on site (50p coin to use) parking costs £5 but it said £10 online.

Absolutely stunning waterfall! We took the kids (aged 7 and 9) on a walk to the top which was a little sketchy at times but well worth it! The map was a little difficult to understand until we got to the top, then it made perfect sense! The area on the other side of the bottom footbridge is a red area and not intended for walking. The entrance to the waterfall walks is by the main carpark entrance gate.

Wow what a wonderful experience. This place is magical. Much better than I anticipated. Yes there are negatives, the roads leading to the falls are narrow and people drive too quickly on these roads. The car park is £5 no matter how long you stay , but closes at 5pm with no use allowed after. The toilets are chargeable. But this is still worth a visit, We parked just before the official chargeable car park which was free. Just be considerate to other drives. From there the falls were only a 10min walk or shorter from the main car park. Please be aware the bedrock around the falls is predominantly slate and can be quite slippery especially when wet. Which it is probably 90% of the time from either rain or people paddling. Enjoy your visit, take a camera, take a towel, take some grippy shoes, if you brave maybe even wear your swimmies under you clothes. Ready for a quick dip in the bracing water. But most of all take home a memory of this stunning place.❤️

Lovely waterfall to visit. Waterfall litterally a 2 minute walk from the car park. Unfortunately the main car park has a £5 parking fee and the toilets have a 50p charge and arent nice!! We managed to park for free abit further down the road. Beautiful waterfall though worth a visit. Didnt find much else to do around there but were struggling for Internet.

Absolutely beautiful walk to the waterfall. Not too strenuous but probably not for the those who have difficulty walking far and on uneven surfaces. The carpark had plenty of spaces but would advise to come early as it gets full pretty quick. Be careful of the narrow route in and out when we left it caused a tailback and a lot of negotiating to get single vehicles to safely pass in a sensible manner. Bring a picnic as its a lovely spot. Lots of breathtaking scenery.

Lovely far reaching walk around the falls area as many paths to explore if you wish to explore the area further.Cafe caught us out as only accepted cash...so worth knowing. We had a nice visit on a sunny day. I should imagine it would get busy at peak times of year around the main attraction area.

This is definitely worth a visit when in North Wales. My wife and I are lucky as we reside in the area and only a fifty minute drive away. It's a magnificent waterfall and the highest in England and Wales. There are some great walks nearby and it's possible to reach the top of the waterfall with superb views and a lake. It has a cafe in historical grounds with a good selection of refreshments.

The falls are a majestic sight. There's a £5 charge to park the car. There's a café for a drink and something to eat.Lots of little buildings to sit under or in if the weather isn't favourable.

Beautiful place . Lovely location .Amazing views of waterfall .Waterfall is very short distance from car park . Car Park charges £5 up-to 8 hours . It’s better to buy some delicious cakes from the tiny little cafe just near the waterfall . If you want a bit of walk just park your car in the nearest area free of cost I think !! We haven’t paid anything & later we saw the actual car park which was payable. The cafe stop serving hot food at 3 in the afternoon but we lucky enough to try cakes and tea there. Carrot cake was so yummy only last one left for us .It’s a beautiful place with some amazing views . Really good place to spend time close to the nature .

The waterfall itself and woodlands is absolutely stunning. A must visit. However expensive parking £5 be aware pay as soon as you can otherwise £100 instant fine, take change as 40p to go to the toilet have to be quick getting through as the turn gate will lock you in, so need an extra 40p to move it again.Had a meal and coffee at cafe disgusting.
