“Had Sunday lunch here. Staff were so friendly and helpful, squeezing us in at the last minute. The roast was delicious! And they were happy to make up a vegetarian option for 2 of our children. The puddings were amazing and big portions... If you get the chance to try the bara brith bread and butter pudding you really should! Highly recommend.”

“National CAMRA Pub of the Year. Cracking boozer. Would have given it 5 stars but it lost a mark due to a staff hygiene issue - two members of staff petted dogs and did not wash their hands afterwards, even though the dogs licked their hands! Something management may like to address perhaps? Otherwise great?”

“Popped in here today for lunch whilst doing a bit of shopping around Oswestry. They accommodated 10 of us no problem at all. There is a good choice on the menu and the prices are very reasonable.
We can definitely recommend the lasagne and the steak and mushroom baguette. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will definitely be returning.”

“Lovely visit today for lunch, plenty of parking and tables available, the outdoor space is great with ground floor and first floor decking available. The table service was friendly and attentive, food was tasty and plentiful unfortunately had no room left for desert this time ?”
