Ok let's look at this from the positives, Food - bloody gorgeous Service - friendly and efficient Facilities - very, very plush Our dog this time would love to go back! Great food, both of us had the Chicken roast dinner, which we both found gorgeous. We had different starters me the Garlic bread and cheese, and my Partner the Black Pudding fritters both were very, very good. Especially the tempura batter for the fritters! Both of us were very happy!!

Great food and welcoming atmosphere - had driven past a few times but decided to book for a Saturday evening. Service was fast and friendly and welcomed our dog. Pie and burger were both really good.

Decided to give this local pub another chance after a disappointing first visit. The decor is stunning but that’s about the only positive. A strange selection of starters but a better choice of main courses than previously. I had the sea bass with samphire and a crab croquette. The meal was dry and the samphire too tough to eat. Everyone else said the same. Small portions and needs extra vegetables at a further cost. Although the staff were pleasant the service was abysmal. It took nearly 2 hours from us placing our order to receiving our food. The place was busy so maybe they need to reduce the numbers of diners to produce a better service but the standard of the meal was very disappointing. There is a long established local restaurant chain which is much better value for money and produces consistently good food so they need to improve in order to survive.

My friend, daughter and I went for early doors dinner on Saturday, we were meeted and greated with warmth and given a lovely table. The menu had lots of delicious options, especially for my daughter and - we are both vegetarian. The service was excellent, the server, Neal was courtesy and kind. He made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. My friend was very impressed too, and will be back for sure. ☆☆☆☆☆
