Nice place, went here after a group walk with my dogs. Plenty on different areas including one at the back which was ideal for the dogs. I don't know about food there.

We stayed locally and walked here. What a great find!Very welcoming despite being "outsiders".Great choice of beers at good prices.We ate here Friday night and had the home made pie. Unbelievable! Huge portion of absolutely gorgeous food.We even cancelled our Saturday night booking at our hotel and returned here for more pie.It was a different pie and even more gorgeous than the previous evening.To put it into perspective, two huge portions of home made steak and red wine pie, chunky chips and peas, came to the same cost as one steak in our hotel.No brainer!Eat here, it's the best pub food you'll ever experience at a price you won't believe.Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed in the back roomWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

I’ve eaten here many times and had good food. However the last meal was very poor. My chips were undercooked, some were hard my friend had a burger that was burnt at the edges and hard to chew. Won’t be returning when there are better pubs in close proximity. Very disappointing.

Visited here for the first time. Lovely lunch, good seating area and good service. Much bigger than it looks from the roadside!! Will visit again!!
