Wolverhampton Road, ShifnalFour of us went in the week, the meals were well presented & we got to pick from a varied menu.
They do a mid week deal as well as a discount on collection as well as a discount for armed services / NHS / teachers etc.
The location is a bit out of the way but found it very convenient as a midway point for our group.

The Kings Yard Micropub
Unit 2 Cheapside, ShifnalFabulous micro. Had 4 casks on when I visited, and a good keg selection too. Freshly made cobs that were fairly priced and perfect to fight away any hunger pains for an afternoon of drinking. Friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely return. Thanks guys

The Masons Arms in Kemberton
Hall Ln, Kemberton, ShifnalJust arrived in the area, and the lady behind the bar was friendly and helpful. We just had a coffee which was really nice and came back for food later that evening, again very good.

5 Park St, ShifnalGreat place to eat and enjoy drinks. Been here many times, for breakfast, afternoon drinks and evening meal. The service here is really good, very friendly, very prompt. You definitely get the feeling the staff want to give you a memorable experience. Food is excellent, the eggs Benedict is lovely for breakfast. Evenings you can have tapas with a fine selection of food.You really can't go wrong here. Great service. Great Food. Great Atmosphere ???

The food was delicious, I had the feta, tomatoes and mint fritters for starter, and the hake as a main, while
my hubby had the gnocchi with chicken as a main.
Front staff were really attentive and professional.
We had a nice chat with Christopher the owner and chef!
A very pleasant surprise of lovely food and perfect atmosphere!

Wheatsheaf Inn
61 Broadway, ShifnalFantastic pub the new landlord and landlady Kerry and Kirk have really turned the pub around.
It is now the hub of the community and is a pleasant place to meet with friends.
They also now do a mean breakfast and a superb sunday lunch.
Definitely the place to be in Shifnal for 5 star ? service!

22a Aston Road, ShifnalAbsolutely fantastic, lovely welcome Mick and Judy perfect host's, always happy to help give advice on directions and the area. Central to Shifnal. Fabulous breakfast you can't fault the full english ??? delicious. Room is great clean and tidy plenty of wardrobe space and draws . Our second stay at The Anvil Lodge and we will return. Pub next door The Anvil lot's of real ales,gins does have outside garden,dog friendly, doesn't serve meals but always got freshly made filled rolls and snacks on sale. Definitely 5 stars from us. ???

The White Hart
High St, ShifnalWe used to go there before it shut down, and now its reopened we've been once and had a drink and the remodel actually looks really nice. It's lost a little of its 'Charm' but its been replaced with a fresh look and I actually think the new layout is a lot better than what it used to be!
If we have any food here in the future I'll update the review talking about the food :-)

5 Cheapside, ShifnalWhat a great find! Delicious food. Really good pickle and dips with the poppadoms, which were great too and well spiced. The dishes are served for sharing too which is unusual nowadays as more curry places are going “posh” and serving individual plates. We just had lamb chops and a couple of vegetable sides which was enough with the excellent bread. The bill was £39, very good value. There’s no license so you can get alcohol from the convenience store almost next door or from the micro pub nearby. Some people were lingering over their beers and there was no pressure to chivvy them out even though they’d finished eating! Really friendly efficient staff too, it’s all fabulous.

8 Broadway, ShifnalImpromptu visit with a friend today on the train what a fantastic place different theme throughout lovely patio area lovely friendly couple greeted us chatted with us and made us most welcome .We had 3 pints each of real aka absolutely spot on and a ridiculously cheap price £3.50 ????we will bring our partners with us next time great job your doing guys good luck for the future ????

The Smokey cow
Madeley Rd, Beckbury, ShifnalTook a chance on the Smokey Cow and happy to say we were all pleased with our choice.
The venue has a warm and welcoming feel to it and the young man running front of house was polite and efficient.
Food choice was plentiful with many of us struggling to narrow it down to one single meal. The meals themselves were lovely and all plates went back to the kitchen empty.
Multiple drink orders were fulfilled quickly and we were tended to throughout.
The small play area outside is in need of a little revamp, but if the venue has just been renovated then I understand this would be the last thing to be addressed.
I would not hesitate to return here and can recommend it to all ages and group sizes.

1 Cheapside, ShifnalHad large cod chips mini fish, battered sausage, curry mushy peas - enjoyed it, plenty of cod.Only issue is that on arriving home couldn't really taste the vinegar or salt, yet the chap definitely added it which was strange.

Services, TelfordQuick stop on route to love2stay, they served us really quick, food was hot and well presented. The young man on till was very polite. We sat in our caravan in the car park to eat to help stay away from potential infections as the services were very busy.
