Lovely little chip shop in shawbury. The food is always fresh and the portions are quite large for a good price. The service is always great and they are cheerful and polite.

The prices are fair, but man on man, the fish is totally flavourless. Or I've got COVID. But I'm pretty sure I don't have COVID.Put some flavour in your batter at least. Some salt? Or anything. Garlic powder? Something.I know cod is already a very bland fish, but I've never had fish so bland.

Chips really nice but I could not finish the fish as it was dry and had a strange taste. The peas were tasteless and had some hard peas in it. Given the cost it should be worth finishing, instead I only ate the chips and a couple of mouthfuls of the fish and peas! Disappointing and won't go back.

To my surprise this wasn’t really a fish and chip shop; they sell fish and chips as well as kebabs and pizzas. You don’t know what type of fish you’re getting; all you can choose is the size. Luckily it tasted quite nice. You got a lot of chips - large would serve four.

Had a “Chip Butty” treat day at work. Went and ordered a LOT of chips. There were freshly made and all packed in a bag for us. Lovely friendly staff and the chips were really good. They didn't last long! Always consistently good food from here, never had a bad experience. Lucky to have this chippy here!
