What a wonderful “proper” country pub serving food that most restaurants can only aspire to. Never ceases to amaze me and everyone I visit with.Parking: Always somewhere to park

Four is us booked and went to the Stanton Arms for Sunday lunch today. What a tremendous experience. The two ladies both had a turkey diner. Allan had lamb and I had beef. The vegetables were runner beans, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and a diced carrot mix, just gorgeous. Our desserts were sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and Bakewell tart and custard. This was our first visit to The Stanton and we will be back! We all opted for the roast lunch - lamb, pork and beef all cooked to perfection and sides, plentiful and delicious. We were so full, but we couldn’t resist and ended up sharing puddings - they were fabulous too! If you have an opportunity to visit The Stanton, please do. It’s a gorgeous location and the menu is delicious!
