Very disappointing. I tried to come with my daughter but there was nothing on the menu she liked. I came back on my own and was very disappointed by the food. It lacked flavour and portions were too small. The salad had barely any green leaves and when I asked what vegetables were in the soup I had a very tetchy counter person. Given the multiple veggie cafes in this area I will not be going back.

Having read about this cafe we decided to visit it during our recent trip to Shrewsbury. The food was really tasty and very good value for money. All the staff were very friendly. Central location.

Blink and you'd miss it but this place had been recommended and we had the address. CSONS and another vegetarian restaurant across the road. Lovely spacious and relaxed area, would be interested to know what exactly this place was in its former life. Really friendly people. We were in just before lunch and one of the dishes wasn't yet ready but the two we chose were excellent. I had the Chickpea Tagine with fresh coriander, I savoured it, so good. This could become our Shrewsbury lunch venue going forward.

A great location for this wonderful vegetarian cafe / restaurant. Really good selection of food at very reasonable prices. My first time there today but my wife has been many times and I can see why. We have now booked in to their 'Monthly all you can eat' evening event.

I found this place purely by chance and I am SO glad I did. All food is vegetarian and vegan, freshly prepared (homemade), great portion size, excellent value for money and super delicious. I had the mushroom and red pepper strogganoff, with mash and red cabbage, inc a fresh carrot, ginger and orange drink. The gentleman serving was friendly, down-to-earth and professional. The interior is welcoming, spacious and displays art for sale by local artists. I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will definately be back when I am next in Shrewsbury. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!

We love the Greenhouse! We came today for the second time in a few weeks and we had mushroom stroganoff with mash and red cabbage and it never fails to hit the spot! Fantastic vegan food. We pushed the boat out this time and had puddings too - syrup sponge and a crumble with vegan custard. It’s food made with love and service with a smile. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back soon!

Called in again for a delicious lunch. The chickpea Tagine was gorgeous. My vegan granddaughter and I went 50/50 with that and the Mushroom Stroganoff also good! My vegetarian daughter had the Moussaka which she complimented. The atmosphere as usual was great with friendly service. I thoroughly recommend this venue when visiting Shrewsbury. Oh and the Chocolate and Orange Torte so lush! We will be back!

The GreenHouse cafe is a real hidden gem for lunch in Shrewsbury. The food is delicious, fresh and homecooked. The cafe is in an amazing building with great views into Shrewsbury. Service is super friendly and quick. Amazing value for a lunch out too!

Wonderful place to eat! Mine and my mom's go to, everytime we go out for lunch. Nut roast is fantastic and so full of flavour. The chocolate beetroot cake is divine. Great salad and side options to go with the mains. A good mix, something for everyone to

We missed this place last time we were in Shrewsbury as we search for vegan eateries first. You enter to a staircase, which leads upto to the huge seating area. It's light and airy with friendly staff and lots of artwork on the walls. We ordered a vegan sausage sandwich, mushrooms on toast and 2 oat lattes. This came to the impossibly reasonable price of £12. The food arrived promptly. It was basic but lovely, well cooked and seasoned and served on home made bread. The menu is classic cafe fayre and could easily all be vegan, but for now, the vegan options are clearly labelled, as are the gluten free options. Nice place for a functional, inexpensive but tasty lunch or breakfast.
