The food and service were very good. However one table of people in the centre of the restaurant seemed to dominate the place, They could not hold a conversation across a table without shouting.

Went there solo today after a motorcycle ride in the area. Staff is very friendly and nice, great selection of food, came quickly and very was delicious. The place itself was clean and charming. Parking space is widely available right in front. Enjoyed it, I will come

We visit bags head often to meet up with my grandaughter & her partner who lives in the village we travel 90 miles each time we love everything about this little gem food is always of a very high standard very welcoming staff nothing is too much trouble very pleasant keep up the grand job you’re doing you are all amazing thank you so much from us both Mr & Mrs B AbelParking: We are always lucky to get a spot at the front as my husband is disabled bad mobility

Lovely pub. Good choices on the menu. Amazingly fast service. I would recommend booking a table for peak times as it can get busy.

Yes another place that calls itself a pub but if you go on a Sunday and just want a drink there is very limited space to sit inside . They should have a area just for drinking and a separate room for dining.
A great team will give you a warm welcome and excellent service if you manage to grab a spot for their Sunday

Arrived at 8.25 and were told last orders was at 8.00. If we could make it easy then they could fit us in. I don’t know what the team class as hard. But all orders received delivered and to a great standard. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble despite the kitchen closing 25 minutes earlier for cleaning. Great staff both behind the scenes and front of house. Would highly recommend a visit.
