Lovely pub - sat outside as music too loud but a sunny day. Had to fetch our meals when a buzzer went on remote. Lovely food - when clearing the plates we asked for coffee only to be told “go and order it at the bar.” So went home. Shame not enough staff and more friendly.
We've been here twice recently and had a lovely time on both visits. The first time we were fitted in at the last minute, a late family visit and pretty desperate for somewhere to eat, and this lovely place didn't disappoint. Great food and service, and although they were getting ready to stop serving food, we weren't rushed at all and were made welcome.The second visit was lunch with a friend, again, lovely food and attentive service. We had dinner here last night -three adults and five children- and we were made to feel so welcome throughout. Service was immaculate and prompt, food was delicious (we just had mains and desserts) and it was a lovely place to spend time. Such friendly and cheerful staff. Highly recommend.
