We was in the 2 bedroom with a almost 2yr old and a 7yr old. What an amazing room!. Great lil living area, plenty of space for the kids. 2 bathrooms! Shower and a luxury bath. We ate in the restaurant, the kids loved there meals and so did we. We had the pie!. It's usually my go to when I eat out at a pub and I can honestly say it was the best I've eaten!. The staff are very friendly. Would definitely return if back if in the area. We have paid twice as much for rooms and they have never been as nice as this one.Food & drinks: Don't go anywhere else, you won't be disappointed

Fish and Chips on Friday is a tradition for many and the 3 Pigeons does it brilliantly. My Partner has the Thai Monkfish Curry and it was so nice, I might have to change my Friday tradition!

Great meal as always. So lucky to have “The Pigeons” as our local pub. First time ordering the monkfish, prawn & mussel Thai curry, it was fabulous. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food ??

We were a small group of four having an evening meal. We were placed in the back room with a party group of 25 people. As you'd expect the party group was very loud throughout with bursts of cheering and jeering. I made my views known before we paid but just got a few empty sorry's. I said why didn't you move us to another table and was told that the other side of the room was booked for another party of 15 people! Management and staff at The Three Pigeons know very well that it would have been a very noisy night in the back room but they were more interested to take our booking and then give us the £145 bill. Just to finish we did get a few more sorry's from the very young staff and then an offer of coffee which was declined. The food was adequate at best. I am very local to the area and will never use this place again.

KFC saved the day!20:00 table booked for my birthday, our first meal out after having our (first) baby.We rocked up at 19:55 which is pretty good going considering we are late 95% of the time.Offered a drink and straight to the table, good start. Look through the menu, good choice, usual disappointment that fillet steak is not up for grabs but after spending my early career as a chef I completely understand why.Ordered (just mains cause we’re eating late) at 20:10 gammon for me, duck for the fiancée, happy days. We’re sat next to the kitchen door which seem to have some sort of comedy club tucked away in there cause all staff were having the laugh of their life most the evening! To be fair it wasn’t particularly busy, we didn’t see any food at all leave the kitchen in the hours we were there. So onset the wait as the hunger grew.By 21:00 the drinks had took there toll and I needed to use the restroom, at this time half a dozen or so teeneagers came out of the kitchen door.Upon returning from the restroom I glanced and still no food! That’s enough for me so I went to the bar and asked for the bill. The surprise on the lads face said it all as he asked if we ordered food. To which I responded yes, 45 minutes ago.He asked one of the youngsters who walked out the kitchen ‘noz, did table 16 get their food?’ to which ‘noz’ pulled out is phone seemingly to check? whilst smirking and saying ‘I’m not sure’.I clarified to what was clearly (who knows why) one of the chefs, that I could answer the question for him!Apologetically the lad at the bar said we didn’t have to pay for the drinks, a small token after the time and money spent organising babysitter. In hindsight after hearing the table up the steps from us complaining about how awful the duck was it was probably a blessing that we didn’t eat here on this one evening that seemed to be staffed by children/teenagers! (This is the point you note some grumpy old man doesn’t like kids, so I’ll just clear up that we are out celebrating my 33rd birthday). As mentioned I have worked in the hospitality trade for a good few years and have a good understanding and sympathy towards satisfying hungry customers. But this just took the p*ss!Where are the adults in this establishment?!?I’d be embarrassed to have my name tied to this sort of performance!

A great village pub, with a friendly welcome and decor. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were gracious and attentive. We only popped in for a drink, but two fellow guests ordered the fish and chips. So, we had to order our own, and we weren't disappointed. The dish was bountiful and tasty, fresh crisp batter on a large piece of fish. Well worth a return visit.
