A cosy, traditional pub in central Shrewsbury. A good real ale selection that is well kept.Typically friendly atmosphere with a mix of regulars & visitors. It's quite small, so it can get busy at times.

Great pub, low ceilings, stone floors and friendly bar staff. We have to say the locals were very friendly too. Highly recommend.

Brilliant old ale house up a side street in central Shrewsbury. A good few ales on. Friendly service and patrons. No tv, no music, no distractions just the hustle and bustle of an old pub. Brilliant. Highly recommended ?

Interesting little pub. First time visit with friends, we planned on checking it out and moving on but stayed all night. Beer was great, nice selection, clean glasses, friendly bar staff. Pubs clean and quirky, nice atmosphere. Will come back for food next time, glad we gave it a chance. Open fire lovely too

Bit oof a gathering of a few friends from work. I had belly pork which nicely cooked but crackling was soggy. Other wise it was all good.

Home cooked to perfection is exactly how I would describe this quirky little pub , serve lunch till 2.00 and we arrived at exactly 2.00 but they squeezed us in .
