Lovely to see it open again today. Always enjoy coming here with family as we live locally; it has good food and drinks, always friendly staff; a nice chilled out spot. The easiest way from town is to walk 10-15 minutes (at the most) from the English bridge. There are a few parking spaces available right outside the café most days and along the river if you are driving. The café has a good selection of sandwiches, snacks, hot food and cakes available too. It is a good place to bring children for lunch as both kids and grown-ups will know and like a lot of the things on the menu. The full English breakfast here is lovely. Everything we had was cooked from fresh and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. On that occasion we visited on a busy Friday morning with tables full and only had a short wait for food (about 15 minutes in total). I am sure they do ice creams during the summer months. There are a few seats available inside the building itself but there are at least half a dozen tables and chairs outside, which makes it a perfect place to sit and relax in the warmer months. There is a small play area outside for younger children where they can see geese and goats in the field. If you are taking out, there are benches just at the entrance of the café and near the weir itself.Recommended!

On a baking hot day after a long bike ride I decided to call at the weir cafe purely for an iced drink.. the atmosphere in the cafe was instantly different to previous times, real people with real conversation, not robotic chat or forced corporate chat . I sat down and noticed the menu and had a peruse .. I then decided to order a tuna salad .. a few other people were eating and their food looked fresh and delicious. When my salad arrived it was beautifully presented and had an array of fresh delights in like grapes and grated carrot ,peppers and a delicious homemade made slaw and separate balsamic glaze . service was with a smile and nothing too much trouble . I will definitely be returning, also situated in a glorious location adjacent to the river Severn , the weir and a mini. Farm with friendly goats and poultry

Lovely cafe. My daughter enjoyed the play park and seeing the Turkeys and goats. Cafe well stocked with cold drinks and delicious cakes. They do have a menu and hot drinks too. We only had cold drinks and a cookie and cake. Lovely area too.

Great little location next to the weir with goats to feed and baby cows to stroke. They also have a little playground for customers that's ideal for 18 months to 8 years.

Brilliant place right by the River Severn, comes with a mini zoo and play garden for the kids. Tea could have been hotter but the ambience made up for it!

I’ve been meaning to message since Sunday to say that I thought your new cook coped admirably despite being obviously very busy! We enjoyed our bacon butties (lovely thick quality bacon) and came back for ice cream / cake after our walk along the river. My little one loved the climbing frame / slide and the animals too ?Kid-friendliness: Animals and play equipment for little onesParking: Parking right outside
