“We booked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed! We took the train from Telford Central station two stops to Wellington and then a very short walk to the restaurant. First impressions were good and we were quickly seated. Complimentary Prawn crackers arrived immediately and our drinks orders were taken and delivered. We then ordered our food - a generous quarter crispy duck arrived with plenty of accompaniments. Extra pancakes were offered without prompting and enabled us to eat it all. For mains we had Young Chow mixed rice - a generous bowl, more than enough for two, AMAZING sizzling fillet beef which was juicy, tender and VERY tasty and dry crispy chicken to which we added a portion of sweet and sour sauce. EVERYTHING was extremely tasty and we even had enough left over to take away. Thanks to all the staff for a good time and a great meal! We will be back. Anyone staying in Shrewsbury or Telford, or journeying on the A5/M54 should consider taking the short trip to Wellington to visit. Super-easy to get to by rail or road, this is an experience not to be missed if you're 'in the mood' for a good Chinese meal. Also notable was the fact that Chinese families had chosen to dine here - always a good sign :)”
