Noisy hotel stopped here to break a drive from Blackpool we were shattered on arrival but 100 times more tiered the following morning between our door constantly rattling and the noise from up stairs hair dryer weren't working so wife and daughter weren't happy got approached by travellers in the supermarket behind it was a stay we will not be redoing ever.. Noise in the morning by staff was awful.. Have made a complaint to HR but no reply.. explains alot really

Not bad for the price; both hotel/service reflected this but both nights stay I was kept wide awake by the constant noise coming from idiots racing their cars around the nearby roads until almost 3am. Local police should really be clamping down in this, recognize it’s not the hotels fault but I won’t be staying here again.

Julie willing to service at restaurants. She can remember what guests eat. Good taste. Maid is good take care of all stuff in room. Room is clean. Location good for workers near hotonwood. Telford. Good for relaxing after work.

Room was well thought out although the hanging rail held a suit but not a dress for example. It was an extremely comfortable good sized bed. Bath with overhead shower..bliss!!! Staff extremely friendly and accommodating .Pub attached..Good atmosphere, good food,again staff were brilliant. Nice size tv too..bonus!!! Loads of parking...what's not to like !!!

Great speedy check in and great sized room. The room is missing some coat hooks next to the wardrobe also the room needs a chest of drawers or something as the three of us couldn't manage to hang all of our clothes up as only 5 hangers. Our sleep was disturbed by cars doing donuts in the car park next door and blowing their horns. Also sleep was an issue because the curtains didn't block out the bright light directly outside our window. Bathroom was a good size and shower was lovely and hot. Bigger mugs would be good.

Very nice place. But in the middle of nowhere. You can walk to other pubs but it's a good 20 min walk. Pub onsite is very expensive. Beds are amazing, rooms are clean and have everything you need and the receptionist is brilliant. Burger king right next door.

Liked · room clean and beds comfy. price of the room was good and would have been a great place to stay at again if it was not for the mentioned issues. Disliked · Hi I was rather disappointed with my Stay and the times I was around there was not a receptionist apart from when we checked in. Both nights I kept getting woke up by the auto sliding entrance doors below our room opening and closing, it was so noisy, even when watching the TV I could hear it. I had a long drive home today and I was very tired. I had to leave the radio on the tv to try and drown out the sound from the doors but not too loud as to disturb surrounding guests but still i got woke up. regarding safety this was worrying that there a lot of boy racers in the adjoining estate car parks racing round and their exhausts popping a lot very annoying and unsafe driving at speed. prices at the pub are a bit pricey and I feel a discount for Hotel guests would be a good thing.

Last minute spur of the moment break away over New Years. Great little hotel. Fab rooms big comfortable bed, great shower and TV. Some reviews talk about boy racers but must be a summer thing as we did not have it. Pub/restaurant next door is pricey for drinks. Two/three pubs walking distance 24-28min.Rooms: Nice big bed, clean rooms. Nice TV ground floor was great.Nearby activities: Nothing really near by. Right next to the hotel was a Burger king. Petrol station with a SPAR they are now turning into a Tesco. There was a Gregg's but not open. Two/three pubs walking distance of 24-28 min. Pub/restaurant right next door. Drinks expensive pint if Pepsi Max and pint if pedigree £8.75

We went here for our Christmas dinner on Christmas day. We were amazed at not only how organised, friendly and attentive the staff were, but also how good the food was! Oh the food... Wow! Hot, fresh, cooked perfectly, arrived quickly too.Having had a bad experience going out for Christmas dinner a few years back (not here), we were a little nervous but our faith was completely rewarded.Honestly couldn't fault it - well done to the team that worked that day, you did a great job :)

Met a friend for a festive 2 course meal today! Service was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Meal was really lovely, had to ask for more gravy as I like my Xmas dinner swimming in it but waitress was happy to help, no problem at all. The meal was lovely, we were not rushed our after we had finished, stopped for more drinks and a catch up. Will definitely be back. Thank you!Food & drinks: Excellent food. Could do with a bigger selection of herbal teas....only peppermint or breakfast tea available.
Great place to stay. The prices are very keen which is great and the rooms are large, modern and very clean!. The staff are super friendly too. The pub part of it serves really nice food. Top top... if you are staying, remember to book a table for an evening meal as they get super busy.

We recently stayed here and it was amazing. The staff were so so helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Vicki looked after us brilliantly. The room was perfect and bed very comfortable. I booked at table, adding notes about a fish allergy, asking if there was Worcester sauce in the steak and ale pie's gravy. When we arrived, Nikki our server had prepared the ingredients for us to inspect, with the chef Neils assistance. This was fantastic service, and just perfect. Nikki was kind and polite, cheerful and extremely helpful. We had a lovely evening, and will be back. Many thanks.

Popped in with friends we were welcomed and taken to a table and made aware of the current food offer which we decided to go for. Shaennea served us and was so excellent as my friend had mentioned she had an allergy and had ordered a meal which was not suitable, so she popped back to check and the order was changed. Excellent service. We enjoyed our meal and the comfortable ambience
