A beautiful gem right on my doorstep! Having lived in Telford for 16 years I’ve only visited Jenkos once, this was during its time as a Brazilian BBQ, and I was blown away by it, however now it is a Mongolian BBQ, once again I was blown away. £22 per person for as much freshly cooked food as you want was mind blowing. You choose your own meat, veg, spices and sauces and let the chef cook it in front of you. Stunning food, attentive staff and friendly atmosphere. The only thing I’d change personally was having to enter through the bar but was still worth every penny!Vegetarian options: If you don’t want meat, there is enough vegetables to make a really tasty dishParking: Very large carpark right on site and totally free

Been coming here for 15+ years as my wife likes it. Over that time we've seen the price per head steadily increase by 60% - whatever. However the clientele has diminished despite rising prices, and the speed at which your food is cooked has dropped off a cliff edge. Is this an intentional ploy to prevent customers consuming too much? Maybe.Compounding this, staples such as regular chicken and pasta have run out at 7pm on a Saturday night, when the restaurant is at 35% capacity. It doesn't take much to monitor the food levels, does it?I enquired and it appears they've "nipped out" to buy more chicken.I don't care for this, the price doesn't bother me even at a higher price point, sadly undeserved at any price as the fundamentals are missing. Also very dark and hard to see what you're eating. Also, bar area was full of 20 something loutish people seriously inebriated at 6pm when we walked in with kids.Edit: music that's overly loud is 00s RnB full of swearing and racial slurs, i.e. not radio edits. Not ideal with so many kids here.

I love this place and I'm very fussy where I choose eat! The food is beautiful. You choose the ingredients and flavouring and the amazing grill chefs cook it fresh in front of you. The staff are friendly and attentive. Dirty plates are cleared quickly and more drinks offered. I often visit with family as a weekend treat. It's great value. It's all you can eat, so its very reasonably priced. It's a great experience and highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: Free off street parking

I ordered a Sunday dinner and pudding as a takeaway. I waited over 2 hours for food and had a issue with the cream they put with the dessert as im allergic and I stated that when I put order in. Well food was over 2 hours late arrived freezing and the extra portions that was ordered was really small for the price. So when I emailed Mark Jenkins about issue with the delivery and my allergies I've received very sarcastic replys and basically quizzing my allergies very rude.. myself and my family friends will no't be using jenkos again and that's because how he has made me feel as a customer from the emails I reieved. Not very professional.

Me and my family have been to this restaurant a few times now, whether it be for the Mongolian dining or the Sunday lunch. On all occasions we have left with a sense of satisfaction and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it is the only restaurant we will repeat our visits. If people want good food, a warm environment and excellent staff go to jenko’s!!

Have been going to Jenkos for years for the Sunday roast which is a delicious selection of help yourself meats, veg and all the trimmings. Unfortunately, they seem to have recently adopted a new rule where you have to vacate your table after just ONE HOUR. We had just finished our first plate of food and not even finished our drinks, when a waiter came over to tell us we had 15 minutes left of the table! We wouldn’t have even had time to choose a dessert if we wanted one? Definitely not the place to come to relax and catch up with friends like it once was. We heard the gentleman next to us say he would have gone to McDonalds if he wanted fast food as he was also made to leave his table. Won’t be returning until this awful rule has been revised. Please consider upping to at least 1.5 hours and if not, reduce the cost as £18.95 is expensive for a so called ‘eat as much as you like’ where you’re kicked out after 60 minutes.

Food was cold, meat was already cut and too cold. Beef was extremely rare. Don’t do OAP meals and charge £18.95 for their disappointing offering of meals. Absolutely day light robbery. Never again. Who wants to go for dinner to microwave it. Better option is to buy a microwave meal which would be far more enjoyable.

I paid a deposit for 8 of us, sadly 2 of the party were ill. I couldn't get through on the phone, no one answered so had thought that they would have honoured their share of the deposit against the bill . The manager was keen enough to remind me it was a deposit..no good will there then, even though they were not busy. I may as well have cooked £10 of meat and taken it home for the dogs

I visited Jenko's just before Christmas. Being a log cabin it looked great both inside and out. It had a good sized carpark too.The bar was the first area I visited, and to be honest it was far too small and felt extremely cramped. Being such a small room it was a bad idea to let people sit around the bar on stalls, this just made a very cramped room even more cramped! There was only about 2-3ft between the wall and the bar stools! Having people sitting around the bar made ordering drinks difficult too.Luckily, the eating area was much better. A small room contained THREE tables, one table had a range of raw meat, fish and vegetable ingredients that you put into a small stainless steel bowl using tongs. The tips of the tongs were quite small like chop-sticks which made it difficult to pick up some foods. Each tub of ingredients had their own set of tongs too, however there was nothing to stop people using tongs from the seafood tub to pick up meat or something else. Cross contamination could be possible, so this method of eating is not advised if you have allergies. On the second table was a range of herbs, spices and sauces. So you could create a range of different flavours. However, most of the foods you could create with the available ingredients would be curry or chilli based. I could not see anything like creams, yogurt, coconut, or meat stocks on the table. You could certainly create nice tasting food though, even without ANY cooking knowledge! On the third table was three large heated tubs of pasta, rice or noodles.Basically, the idea of Jenkos is to allow customers to choose whatever raw ingredients they want, which will then be cooked by the two chefs on a large cast-iron hotplate. You hand the chef your bowl of ingredients which he tips onto the hotplate, as it cooks it is slowly moved clockwise around the table, with the next customers ingredients being added soon after. Each customers meal is divided by two long pieces of wood. Again, as one customers meal is soon cooked on exactly the same area of the hotplate as the previous meal (due to rotation), cross contamination could be possible. Once your meal reaches the end of the hotplate it is fully cooked and handed back to you on a plate. You can then add either pasta, rice or noodles on the third table. As it was all-you-can-eat when I visited, customers can also go through the same process again, creating something different each time. This was more fun than eating the food!!!So Jenko's is certainly different to most restaurants, and I recommend it. But improvements could be made to make it even better, including customer communication via Facebook or email. I NEVER got ANY replies to several messages. Including BACON in the ingredients would be good too ?

First time visit. This place came recommended and I have driven past it for years. The staff were friendly who explained the process, however it was the process that let our experience down a bit. We got up from our table at like 6:05pm and sat back down at 6:30pm with our food. The process is, you go up from your table, grab a silver bowl, fill up your vegetables, then pick your meat, then turn to pick your spices as per the picture attached to make a spice/sauce base. Then you had it to the cooks at the hot plate who pour it on and cook it. you stand and watch whilst it cooks. The problem is, you stand for a good while in this line, they move the food around, right to left and you moved along, level with your food, but standing, literally shoulder to shoulder with other diners, who are not part of your party isn't the best, the space is quite cramped and it all gets a bit much. The cooks don't interact, no flair, conversation or facts, I know they're there to cook the food, but a bit of passion would be good.Once you have your food, you sit down, eat in about 10 minutes and then think, should I join that big line again for a second bowl.In all we spent £22 per person for all you can eat and had 2 bowls each. starting from 6pm to 7:15pm, with very little chance to sit down and interact at the table. More time standing up.Pudding was good, Pavlova and a cheesecake, 5.95 each.Whilst the food was good, we probably won't be back as we just didn't like the experience of standing up more than sitting. I think you do have to try it once as it could be for you! It's definitely not 1 star as others have given for food.Dietary restrictions: There is an option on the menu to have food cooked separately from the main hot plate.Parking: lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: car park is stones and the restaurant space is cramped if you had a wheelchair. possibly difficult.

Absolutely wow. Such a little gem of a place. Food was delicious, loved that we could pick it all out ourselves. Staff were polite and genuine. Might be tricky to take children as I know mine would become impaitient. Would definitely recommend for adults though, its been a while since I could say I enjoyed a new place.

Fun eating experience. Lots of choice. Choose your meat and veg options, load up your bowl before adding your spices and sauces then hand it over to get it cooked in front of you. Enjoy with rice pasta or noodles.Vegetarian options: Lots of veg and meat alternatives available
