Yesterday me and the family popped into the flying fish for abit of lunch. We chose to eat in. The chips were fresh out the fryer, hot, golden and hands down the best chips I have ever tried. Service as always was amazing, friendley, down to earth and welcomeing. Thankyou to the Flying Fish Team ?

Stopped here for chips on our journey home after walking up The Wrekin. Really lovely food, great service, friendly staff and great value for money. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again :-)

The Flying Fish, fish and chip shop in Dawley High St is top quality for anything you would want for a takeaway supper. This is a local business run by local people and you can clearly see that from the atmosphere created by the staff. The food is top quality.

Well, this has got to be the finest chippy around! I must drive past 6 or 7 others to get here. The naan kebabs are to die for! Bread nicely cooked(but not over). Meat serving is incredibly generous & salad really fresh. The smallest portion of chips, a cone, is again quite generous. Staff are always very friendly & chatty??A*

I am the first to leave a negative review anywhere that gives bad service, so I believe it only right to leave positive reviews when I get excellent service. As usual, upon entry to the shop, Helen greeted me with her warm and friendly welcome, they had a bit of a lunch time rush on, but still had my order in quick time. The girls behind the counter didn’t skip a step getting people’s food in front of me and still managed to hold conversation in a polite and pleasant manner with myself and waiting customers. I had my food, it went down a treat. Could not fault a single thing. People may question that I’m a regular when reading my review, to those people I say, ask yourself why I am a regular. Customer service and food like this breeds nothing but customer loyalty, to Helen and her entire team, thank you. There is a reason so many people come back, please never change ?.

Seriously can not believe what i had witnessed the other day standing outside of the chip shop, a member of staff had dropped some food on the floor and then have picked it up to put it in to the box and gave it to the delivery driver! I have had many bad experiences with this chip shop, mainly the staff, so i thought i would finally make a review as well as noticing that all the good reviews on here are from people that work at the place! I would highly recommend anyone avoids this place! So many better takeaways on the high street!

Well what an awful experience!!! Ordered burger upon arrival, joined the queue my sister was in front of me, after waiting for my turn found that the burger had not even been started at this time no one was serving as they were dealing with someone else!!!! When I explained that was I going to have to wait much longer as my sisters food would be cold!!! I was told by the owner that we should have informed them we were together and she wasn’t in the mood for an argument and I could cancel my food!! Well I have never been treated so badly in my life. Will never step foot in the place again!!! Good luck to anyone who is happy to be treated so badly. Merry Christmas all.
